If this image is the new LC250, it does have a lot of retro Prado style !Not sure if its a pre-production artifact but the driver and passenger seat cushions are different on what appears to be the upscale model.

The product is going significantly down market from what was expected if the leak is accurate. I'm not sure what is the third time. My guess was $55k, so probably in the ballpark. What I don't think anyone expected was the USA base model to have the $35k Tundra SR level interior. Even the current base 4Runner is better equipped. Will the new 4R also go a step down to an SR level interior? We are getting into Einstein's definition of insanity territory now. You think the THIRD time is the charm?
The pricing is as expected, maybe a tad low.....I still think $65K is the right number.
Dear friends, get a Gen 5 4Runner if you can. Accept it.
Somebody posted a pic of the center console... This one has all the buttons there, next to the driver , south of the shift.... Does that mean more lockers ?Not sure if its a pre-production artifact but the driver and passenger seat cushions are different on what appears to be the upscale model.

Looks like center and rear diff locks plus traction control off and 'SDM' - the 2024 tacoma page lists that as 'Stabilizer Disconnect Mechanism'Somebody posted a pic of the center console... The official Toyota pic had a H4F-H4L-L4L transfer shift switch, a rear locker button and a blank button. The dubious picture from the article had 4H/4L and button for a rear and a button for the center (with odd lock symbols instead of X's). So on the official one I think 3 lockers could be possible, not so much on the one in the article.Somebody posted a pic of the center console... I saw that too, that's what is preventing me from 100% believing the leak since I thought that having two different transfer cases for a LC seem unlikelyThe official Toyota pic had a H4F-H4L-L4L transfer shift switch, a rear locker button and a blank button. When you have your hands full of mud, touch screens ain't the bestLots of plastic throughout and what's up w/ the randomly placed volume knob?!?
Anyone else find it weird that a truck with a heritage grill has Sombrero logos on the wheels?
Sorry meant 4 Runner!GX550 isn't getting a Hybrid V-twin...it's either V6TT or I4HT
