2016, rear ended :(

Lots of rear bumpers have a swing out option. If a swing out isn’t your wife’s cup of tea get one and don’t mount the swing. In a few years when armor time arrives you’ll be ready to roll.

If it’s a stock look but more protection you’re after, I’d recommend the Kaymar without the swing outs. IMHO It’s a much more elegant design compared to the ARB.

Who stocks/sells Kaymar here in the states?

Yeah, that might be the route we go. However, it's the wife's truck and she's just annoyed as we detailed the crap out of it this morning.....

Ward Harris and Co just started importing Kaymar... Was always interested in years past, but they were too expensive to order from Australia until now.
-Trail Taylor does rears without swingouts, but I think he’s booked solid til Summer...?

Detailing shortcut—
For scratches and pinstripes, I find a fresh coat of dirt and trail crud makes me feel a whole lot better.
- Like yesterday... What pinstripes? :hillbilly:

You may want to ask who ever fixes it to let you keep that skin. That area that is not damaged is the piece you need to cut out and keep for the after market bumpers.

That oem rule usually only matters if you are at fault and your company is paying for the repair. When you are not at fault the oem and deductible rule does not apply.

What part # are you using for weather striping between the bumper and the skin?

Thanks. I noticed they also moved the trailer plug. I was thinking of doing the same since the OEM is fairly off center.
