:cry:, oh well, a tiny inconvenience in an awesome machine. Rear shelf installed, all other questions clarified, time to go play:cheers:

Glad I searched for this string. I too have a low oil pressure reading; typically around 1/4 or so. Thought it was too low for only ~700 miles on car. Was going to go to dealership today to look at. But it sounds like others have similar readings. Oil level is spot on with dipstick markings.

As for changing the home screen (which is what I was actually searching for when I ran across this string) that sucks. I don't want Nav screen coming up every time but it sounds like that's the way it is....

Want to add question to this string: When I put my side view mirror switch into either left or right setting for adjustment and leave it there, when I go in reverse the mirros rotates up! If I put back in center position the side view mirrors stay put. Freaked me out the first time as I'm looking into the mirror and it's rotating up to look at the sky!!

Now, my guess is that the mirrors probably should tilt down, not up, so you can see more of the ground/curb as you back up. Possibly wired backwards?

On a cold morning like yesterday the oil pressure reading was at mid or slightly above, but went to 1/4 when the engine warmed up. So it looks like normal.

Yes the home screen not being priority is an inconvenience. In the manual it specifically says the home screen should come up after the warning screen, but it is always the Nav that shows up. A programming glitch I would assume.

Yes, the mirrors should tilt down, probably wired correct if all other adjustment functions work properly, so another programming glitch? typically I don't like mine to rotate so I have not played with them much.

Yes, the rear view mirror operation is intentional. This is so that when you are backing up and need to see the rear wheel or the edge of a cliff or the curb when parallel parking the mirror will automatically tilt down. The actual tilt-when-in-reverse position will be memorized when your record the driver seating/steering wheel/RVM positions (1, 2 or 3). And different positions can be saved for left and right. Of course, there are times when you would prefer to see the side of your garage door opening, a post in an underground garage or a tree when on a trail and you don't want the mirror tilted down. Putting the mirror adjustment selector in the middle position (neither mirror selected) disables the RVM tilt operation and moves the mirrors back to your normal (forward driving) position. Very handy when you know what it does. This feature is on other vehicles. For example I had it on my Land Rover LR4 and on my Acura MDX.

Thanks. What threw me off was on a previous car I had when you put it either in left or right side and put it in reverse, that respective mirror tilted all the way down without memory. It was preset and could not be adjusted. So when I moved the switch left or right on the LC I just assumed the same, not realizing it was programmable. Pretty cool.
