For what it is worth, the latest Car and Driver (Sept. 2011) lists:

Toyota Land Cruiser
  • mild face lift:
    • new grill
    • new bumpers
    • new headlamps
  • surround-view system
  • terrain-selection
  • off-road "turn assist"
  • Entune, Toyota's mobile-app and web interface
Lexus LX570 - unchanged

No pictures or any additional details. These are just snippets from CD's full list of 2012 model changes for every auto/light truck sold in the US.

What's "off road turn assist"? I wonder if I can retrofit it to my 40? ;)

I hope they don't put projector beams or HID lamps.

Looks like the cameras from the LX are being added.

the new turn assist + terrain select all debuted on the new prado 150 series ( 2010 )

I wouldn't mind a third pedal. And one of these:

Lexus LX570 and other model rumors

More Lexus plans, mention of LX570 being unchanged through at least 2015. Seven seat CUV delayed indefinitely.

Apparently pagemaster isn't going to get the 7 passenger crossover he so desires and the rest of us get to keep body on frame, solid axle goodness.

LX: Since the incremental volume of the top-line SUV helps justify Toyota's investment in the Land Cruiser, the LX won't go away. But expect the current version to stick around longer than planned, perhaps beyond 2015.

I think delaying the CUV is a smart move. But they need something between the RX and GX, or move the GX to a IRS. Cadillac will very soon have a unibody Escalade model to go up against Q7, GL-Merc, and a new Infiniti.

The Lexus RX is too small.

(note, Cadillac will still have the large body on frame Escalade as well, there will be two escalde models)

The surround cameras, at least the passenger side, front, and rear, have been available in the US on Lexus LX570 for years.

It will be interesting to see if the LC gets the same system or something different.

the website this was originally posted in is lcool , and its still a prototype and not the official thing.

The rear may very well be the final design , how ever the front end isn't .well considering sources said the front end will chage , then i guess not .

With an MSRP of just under $78k, I now see why the local dealers keep trying to get me to sell mine to them.
