I'm passing but nothing funny about it other than looking strange in current state - prob the only 2011 in the states and will definitely command more than it looks.

that LHD dash has gotta be worth something to a person planning on a proffits conversion. In fact there would be a lot of valuable parts here for a proffits conversion. I know it's worth some real coin even in it's current state though I am very interested in finding out who is willing to cough up the highest bid and just how high that bid gets
I personally would LOVE to have it and do my own build, but that's to much coin for me to justify. 
Definitely neat and would be cool to build into something, but considering this was $32k brand spanking new with a roof ... I'd say the bidding is kinda crazy. I guess having it here means something, but still?

BTW: Got that number from the thread in the 70 series board where a guy in Nicaragua paid $32k for a brand new 2011 HZJ79 Troopy, could be a little off but still ....

The NAVAIR guys just bought a new 2010 HZJ-76 LX model from the UAE last year, IIRC they said they paid ~40K not including shipping it to Afganistan. Which they didn't have to, just stuffed it into the back of a C-130 and flew it in
Certainly this would have been a total loss by the trucking company's insurance and paid to the owner accordingly. He probably bought it back for way less than 23k. Looks like a good deal for this guy in the end.
