Glad to meet you!
My 2010 LX is mostly flawless. When I got it a year ago I had a local service tech baseline a few things, but nothing A/C wise. When I picked it up and got home a year ago I realized no air flow was coming from driver vents. Odd. A few days later, magically it started working again and has worked flawlessly for a year.
Last week the A/C blower motor went out. I had the dealership relace it. When I picked it up, no airflow out of the driver vents again
While I wait for it to magically repair itself, what could be the culprit here? And it's peculiar that the only 2 times it has done this it had been in the shop. They tried doing some servo resets but still no air yet. They said the repair manual says replace the A/C amplifier next. Given that it self-healed before (how does it do this?) I am hesistant to drop nearly a grand on the A/C amplifier.
Any ideas or recommendations from the brainstrust here?
