I could use a few coarse-splined 3rds, if anyone has one or two they're interested in selling AND hauling to the event. CALL me at the shop to follow up [and keep this thread on track.;)]

OK so where on your 45 did you build a storage box for 3RD's ? your running out of room

mark, i have at least one coarse splined 3rd at my place in atascadero. it is still in the axle though. You are welcome to it. I will also have two more once I finish my 1964 45 lpb project.

I have some friends showing up in Heeps Friday night before I arrive. Don't worry they will be gone Saterday morning. Please try to keep the abuse clean.

thanks for the replies guys, i guess i'd better get my ass in gear and put some more time towards procuring lots of raffle loot.:bounce:

I have a raffle prize I have been working on for a couple weeks....

3 more work days and then i'm outta here. got the troopie fired up after a 3-year hybernation. it was a little grumpy but eventually came to life. bringing it to the shop tomorrow to check all the vitals.

a can of WD-40 with the fogger nozzle works wonders on stubborn diesels. note, do *NOT* do this on a diesel with a grid heater like a CTD.

It wouldnt have been in pieces if you hadnt taken it back apart. At least get something Toyota running, Id hate to see you have to take a Jeep on a Toyota event, again.

that, and wheeling with BK.

Looks like a gathering of cruisers at Wagons house Thursday night then rollin in Friday.

you mean more than the cruisers I have here in pieces? hm. guess I better cut down some trees to make more parking. :hillbilly:

If my jeep wasn't broken, I'd consider bringing it on this trip. The 62 is making it abundantly clear it wants to stay home this weekend, and the 60... well, who really wants a loud BJ on the trail? The last time I had a loud BJ on the trail, it took a day for my ears to quit ringing.

Hm. that came out wrong.

As it sits right now, the only thing with a transfercase that doesn't need work is a crew cab dually. Good thing the trip isn't in a couple days. :bang:

I just gave all my old 3rds stuff to Ross Woody last month...seemed like he needed 'em at the time.

more raffle prizes showed up today, pile is growing.:grinpimp:

Hi guys, I took a seasonal ranger job at lake powell and won't be able to make it this year. Thats means you guys have to catch the trout ( I'm catching stripers here). Hey Georg save a xxl shirt for me

Sorry you're not gonna Make it this year Dave . . . I guess the trout are safe this time around ;^ )

Is there a traditional trail running schedule? Cuz Sunday a.m. I plan on taking my 70 down to the pavement at Hermit Valley with my daughter and her friends following me in our Heep Short Bus. (Big yellow 4 door) I will prolly take the trail back to camp and they will take the pavement back home.

Just wondering if most folks run the trail on Saturday or if Sunday is the usual trail day.

the trail ride is usually on sunday. glad to hear you're gonna make it jon.

Well, I am not going to make it. I have been on the fence for a while. The tipper is our son is flying in tomorrow and I should be around for that. He hasn't been home for several years.

On the bright side. I am considering taking my 4rnr to Tillimock for an event there at the end of Sept. I haven't confirmed that yet, but I've been lurking on the website and checking maps. It would solve the tailgate shipping issue.

Georg, if you can, save me a large shirt. I'll be shipping a tailgate (if he still has it) from 2ndGen and payment could be sent at the same time.

oh yeah, happy birthday

Man, I would love to see you guys. I trust you will be at SnT?

We'll miss you, but we'll have Skillet to harass :grinpimp:. See you @ SnT, and have fun @ the P's new property!

I plan on harassing those little fish...

Pighead is a definite, I waffled, I must admit, between the Georg run and the Cantina...I did a Rubicon work day with FOTR a couple weekends ago, and it was a blast. But it IS Georg's B-day, and I have been there, that weekend for 9 years in a row or so.
And then I remembered Mark A. is bringing parts for me. I gotta be there.

Loading up my junk! Bringing the whole family and the trailer too!
Does anybody know if Joe and Paula are coming? Just want to find out for my son.
He is hoping they bring their boys. He enjoys playing with them. Looking forward to it!!! See you there mid day Saturday!
