What's the MUD price?

Holy crap!! $31,900 That's a price of a 200 series what a rip... I just bought a 2005 lx470 89,000 miles two old people owned it for 18,000 bucks.... all maintenance done at the Lexus dealer...

can I rip off mud owners first...

Not a "Rip" at all. Here in Australia we have examples going for $40k+ and the 4.2 Turbo Diesels still into the early $50k's for a low mileage example.

I think his price reflects, condition, mileage, Maintenence and rarity. That is also his asking. At $29,950.00 which is probably what could be negotiated that seems like a fair deal.

@LX470Mack no offense but market conditions on another continent are irrelevant for what things should sell here in the US. A while back people were exporting old tired 100s to Russia because they could sell them more there than they could here. Again, not really relevant to what a consumer in the US should pay. Maybe you should look at from the flip side and tell sellers in Australia you can get the same truck in the US for less and see if they lower their price ;)

GLWS. Be patient. It will sell. Please post up the sales price once it sells.

I own a 2005 lx470 have had a 98 and 2006 LC and own a 2013 land cruiser.... sorry for the same money 200's blow 100 series out of the water... pricing is in 200 series range, but hey for every seller there is a buyer... there just might be someone has many more bucks to part with than me...

Just for reference I bought for my father in law a one owner no kids in the car ever California truck zero rust, 2007 land cruiser with 95,000 miles on it, in June 2015 all maintenance done at toyota dealership for $19,900...

@Rando Kuruza you are a badass....that has shown. But I would pay more for a 100 series than buying a 200. So unless you want to buy his truck go start your own thread or maybe even a used car lot and be a badass over there.

It will sell for very close to that amount.

200 is a cow in trails that are not in the wide west.

A few months ago this seller had a very comparable rig that sold for this asking price to a fella in Colorado. I recently bought a 130K 2006 from him (No. Cal truck) for $24K & am happy. Finding solid 100s is hard & there IS a market for people who don't want a 200 series. Technically I could afford a 200 I just believe that the 100 represents the pinnacle of Land Cruisers :-)

Will someone please buy this very nice LC, talk with the seller, make him an offer, and run a CarFax, if need be run a MUDfax as well as I sure a nearby MUD brother would be willing to help out the potential buyer.

It's nice no doubt, and a vehicle is worth what someone is willing to pay. However, I personally feel this price point is quite high as I just saw an '07 LX470 with only 71k miles sell at a dealership nonetheless for $23885. I can attest that this LX was mint, and I mean the cleanest LX in the country, hands down....it was owned by a 67 year old man and never seen snow. Obviously, it sold quick at that price. Even the rear wiper blade did not have the dreaded droop like this LC. Maybe there is a higher demand for low mileage LC's than LX's, I am not sure. But, maybe someone will step up and pay close to what the OP is asking. Either way, GLWS.

I keep abreast of cruiser prices in the States and Canada. My mother is from New England and I am constantly over there. I wouldn't say it was a steal but it is certainly not a rip off. Then again you'd know more than I.

Hey to each his own... if someone wants to buy it for that price good for them... I remember talking to the GM at our local Lexus shop he said there are 3 types of buyers.
1 - people who will pay any price for something they want, not caring about the money at all.
2 - people who only buy cars at a discount even if it's not the right color or exactly what they want... as long as they get a discount
3 - People who get exactly what they want at a steep discount... they are patient and buy at the right time.

GLWS just needs to find buyer #1.... my philosophy falls in the #2 and #3

GLWS does this to make money... hey buys them cheap and sells them high, if someone is willing to pay the premium for someone else to do the work, then I say go right ahead my guess he bought that Land Cruiser for 25k-26k and banking 5k to 6k... admire him on his willingness to make money I pity the person who pays the price for it

This is an extremely rare year, extremely rare color, the LC is slightly more desirable than than the LX. At the end of the day it is all about supply-and-demand. There is probably not another one quite like this around, and there will be people who want it (myself, the next time I upgrade, will be to an 06 or 07 like this rather than 200 series), and we will pay. Especially with this color combo. It's just a matter of timing.
