Started with a search, but not finding an answer to my specific issue. The GX has plenty of heat, but it only wants to come out of the vents above 2500/3000 rpm. As soon as I drop below that, it goes ice cold. Is this a door motor issue? A circuit board issue? Has anyone seen this before? Any direction would be appreciated.

Check your antifreeze is topped off in the over flow.
That’s the first and easiest thing to check.

Remove the radiator cap and check the radiator level before you bother with the overflow bottle.

Many GXs have bad radiator caps/neglected radiators because the cap is hidden under that idiot shroud. I drilled a large access hole in the shroud so I can easily get to the radiator cap.

A couple years ago mine literally took a quart in the over flow and that’s all it took to make heat again. Plus it in plain sight.
