My response to all of the rust threads, FWIW, is why buy a rusty 100 series. They run for ever, so the only thing to really worry about on these rigs is rust. Ergo, it is the one thing to avoid. See if you can find a southern one, maybe CarMax, and pay to have it shipped for inspection.
I could not agree more. Living in the NE everything has rust. I shipped my truck in about 200 miles. Next time I will ship from the deep south or Midwest. Shipping isn't as much as you might expect. I would pay $1000 more for shipping a non rust version

04 LX470 FL Car, 170k miles, $17500. Interior pics look great, rust doesn't look too bad to me. Thoughts on price and photos?

Thanks

looks clean, but can't see underbody, under spare and a few other spot I'd like to confirm no rust. Looks like propeller shaft (aka drive shafts) and spider joints are dry, indicating poor or improperly maintained. Not that it would stop me from buying, but a little pricy if that's the case.
