Hi all,

Love this forum!

Any current 100 Series owners out there looking to upgrade to a 200 Series? I am looking for a clean/low mile 2003-2007 LC100. Stock is good; built but not abused even better! My budget is determined by the condition/maintenance and accessories on the vehicle. I just sold my 2013 4Runner and I have cash in hand. Please contact me at sendtoryan@yahoo.com or 956-279-9011. I am located in Colorado Springs, CO and have family in South and Central Texas, however, I am willing to travel anywhere in the country for my dream vehicle! I'm a serious buyer and will not waste your time.

Thanks for your time!

What 200 series do you own?

What is your mileage criteria?

LC100 only or are you looking at LX470's as well?

Hi Nicholas. To clarify, I don't own a 200 Series, however it would appear the trend is many LC100 owners are upgrading due to the current pricing of the 200 Series... Me purchasing their rig would simply finance that upgrade.

My mileage criteria is not set in stone, as we all know not all miles are created equally. If I had to cap it; I would say below 150k UNLESS oil changes were frequent (3-5k) and all servicing was completed per Toyota's recommend guidelines at a dealer (or with a land cruiser specialist). I am open to LX470's if the condition/price is right... as I would like to delete the adjustable suspension immediately if it has not already been done. I am also willing to entertain a GX470 (Sport Package only) unless it has the available KDSS. My price cap is 23K; but the condition must be immaculate for me to justify that... Otherwise I would like to stay somewhere in the mid-teen's. I sold my 2013 4Runner for a down payment on a house and (as much as I would like to) am completely negating my efforts if I turn around and spend $30k on a cruiser... the resale on these things are good right now; but I am simply not in a position to pay a $15k premium on an otherwise $15k cruiser. Are my expectations unrealistic? Not really... I passed up a 2003 Land Cruiser, completely dealer/Safari maintained with ARB bull bar, Slee Swingout rear bumper, Baja Roof Rack, OME Lift, IPF lights, escape gear seat covers, ect. in immaculate condition (161k miles) for $14.5k in Grand Junction, CO (Dry!)... The undercarriage was spotless and I kick myself purchasing it but only passed it up because my 4Runner had not yet sold... I now have cash in hand.

What will likely make this search difficult is I am completely OCD about vehicle maintenance and care... I use, but baby my vehicles at the same time; a concept very foreign to most people lol.

That being said, I hope this sheds some light about some of the things I look for in a Cruiser... I probably just described what 99% of the people on this forum are looking for!

spaber05, thanks for the heads up. That's a great price... wonder what rust situation is like being a NE vehicle. Will keep the forum followers posted. Thanks!

Have a call out; haven't heard back.

Call a guy by the name of Nelson Im at Stevinson Toyota up in Denver. I bought my 2004 Land Cruiser from him. He said they are always getting Land Cruisers in on trade.

Left him a message; thanks UpNorthMN!

Awesome finds but is that price on par with what similar trucks go for?

thanks for info. The one in Providence has been sold. I just called about the one in ATL and it has been in a wreck....

Did the one in GA have a salvage title or was it just a light repair?

im not sure, I asked dealer to send me some pics of undercarriage and he sent me one blurry one....

I have a super clean, built 2004 Hundy that will be going up for sale after Xmas.

CA vehicle since new
I bought from original owner who was a friend of mine
130,XXX miles w/ detailed (fanatical) service history
Gold w/ Tan Interior - Immaculate In / Out
Completely built for overland travel
JT's Deluxe Suspension w/ Ikon Shocks
34" Nitto TG's
BIOR Bumpers and Sliders
30" LED Light Bar
Dual Batteries w/ Hell Roaring Kit
Milford Cargo Barrier
Rihno Triple Load Bars (Tent NOT included)
Full Weathertech floor mats
Rear Air Bags

Going up for sale because I just bought a built Tacoma (I have Cruiser ADD) and I really have no use for 2 overland rigs plus a crazy 62 Series Diesel build :-). Have not determined a price yet, but I paid $21k for the rig 18 months ago and bolted on $10k+ worth of stuff...so while I expect some depreciation, I won;t be giving it away.

Let me know if it's of interest to you. My build thread is here: Here we go again...another Hundy build

I sent you an email about my 06 Black/tan non-AHC 110k here in Colorado Springs that I will have on the market within the next couple of months.

Pm'd you Chuck_421.

Why not get the 2007 LX470 with 91k miles that is located in Colorado Springs and posted right here on MUD. Looks perfect.
