I would definitely go take a look. looks in fair shape. Look at the following
1) CV boots see if they are leaking,
2) Valve cover Gaskets see if they are leaking (rear of engine, may have to crawl all the way under to look up and see)
3) see if trans pan is leaking
4) check all 4 shocks and see if they are leaking
5) Ask if Timing belt has been done
6) Steering wheel tilt up & down and In & out
7) Look at VIN in Lexusowners.com to see what services have been done a Lexus Dealers
8) See how much rust is on the under carriage. I have been seeing a lot of these bought at auction on the east coast and sent all over the states
9) make sure AHC goes up and down.

AND by all means if you buy it replace the Heater T's IMMEDIATELY.

I know i am missing things and hopefully some others way more knowledgeable will chime.

Thanks... I did notice there were no undercarriage pics but dealers usually don’t include ‘em. Just running a quick vin check - looks like an Ohio truck for most of it’s history - maybe not a good sign :cautious:

No rust no accidents buy it fast, that a good price for 01 w 124K miles. Even minor accident, it may be a winner. T-belt are at 90K miles or 7 yr, don't be overly concerned with 7 yr.

Ohio is typically thumbs down

its a dealer, so you know its overpriced. Id bet the farm the frame is shot.

I asked for a Carfax report and to be contacted by whoever “cleaned” up the truck so I could ask about the frame etc... “Oh sure thing sir, we’ll have that for you tomorrow”(this was through text message via the website). I heard nothing from them today.... My wife called me at work to say that she got someone on the phone to ask about it and it took a salesman nearly 10 minutes to finally tell her he couldn’t find the keys so it must have been sold!
:meh:
