Nolen, tell me more about the tent/roof rack combo please! It looks to be on the factory rack, haven't seen it done on a 100 yet. Definitely doesn't look like a $afari Rack.

The roof rack is factory and the crossbars are Yakima. The connectors are made for factory type racks.
The tent is one of the ones that were going out on Mud for around $400. It is not the highest quality tent, in fact it is a tad cheap, but at 1/3 the price of a comparable tent, and seeing the amount I use a tent like it, it is just fine with me.
The factory specs on the 100 roof rack are a little minimalistic. I have been hauling my loaded Spacecase on it since I got it and have no problems with it getting loose or anything.
I like it because the Yakima is easily removable unlike all the other aftermarket racks.
That's great to see. I've been eyeballing one of Christo's EZI-Awns but it gets to be a serious housing investment once you couple it to an African Outback full rack!!!

I am interested to know if the Eezi-Awn can be mounted on the AO loadbars themselves--no rack. That would have a lower profile and less costly.
Yes. The AO load bars are quite strong. Jasper Jackson does this on his 80 (with I think one of the Autohome hard-shell tents). Or you could just use basic Thule or Yakima bars.

I am looking for someone that took the OEM rack off their 100 for an aftermarket rack so I can use it on my trailer......
I think the OEM rack is plenty strong, it is just the way it is mounted to the roof that keeps it from having a higher load rating.

Nolen...are you going to install a different ARB front bumper from the one in your pics?

Sorry for the confusion.....I am installing a FRONT ARB locker.....

If you are interested, I have two racks that I previously has on my 2001 L/C.. I have the factory rack, whoch has been stripped and is now silver.. looks great... and the second is an LX470 rack, which is actually alittle shorter than the L/C factory rack (it mounts to the set of holes further back on the roof... might be perfect for trailer). It is basically semi- new. HAd it mounted for approx. 2 months. You might need to scavenge some additonal mounting bolts, etc... Let me know and I can box it up and have it to you pretty quickly. I mounted up an ARB rack.. Awesome.

Very nice build! I am envious. Are you going to paint the front bumper to match the rear bumper? Also, I am new to this but am confused about the rear bumper. Didn't you say earlier that it was a different brand other than ARB? It seems later you stated it was an ARB. Did you change it again? What kind is it now?

The rear bumper is a non-tire carrier Sleeoffroad.com model. I really like it, it looks great and held up fine to all the dragging I did with it in Moab.
The ARB rear bumper is nice, but a litte too "busy" for me. I like the simple lines of the Slee model.
As for the front bumper, I have the paint, just have not done it. I am probably going to wait until after Rubithon 2007 when I scratch the crap out of it to paint all the armor over.

None, but it leaves you with 2 monster gaping holes in the top of the bumper.
Looks good from far, but far from good when you get close.
It is not something that could not be modded to work by someone with better nun-chuck skills than I, but for now, I will keep the bling-bar.....
couldnt you cut some abs plastic to fit it, and use some sort of rubber trim ring to seal it in place? that would allow it to look purtay from far and near.
