Price??

Maybe I'm crazy, but on the dealer's site they are at 16.9k, which appears crazy high. The dealer states they have 15k in it, but book trade in is about 10k and I've never met a car dealer who pay's 5k over book just because of a bumper and lift, if anything they try to downgrade the price on the purchase and then inflate upon the sell.

Numbers just don't add up. Here is the build thread on it though, so it's pretty cool to see the history.

I am knew to shopping for LC's I originally wanted a 80, but the creature comforts of the 100's are appealing.

Cheers,

Should they mention its a lifted truck with an aftermarket front bumper and oversize tires? or should they keep telling people it gets 13mpg city 16mpg highway? I would call their bs if I lived close enough to care

If I'm not mistaken, it's got spacers in the rear and t-bar ajustments in the front, not an actual new suspension/lift kit, right? If that's so, isn't it a pretty much stock LC with snow tires and an ARB bumper? And if that's correct, wouldn't it really be worth closer to $12k?
