Testing the waters to see what the market is for a SAS 100 series right now. Really want to get back into a 40 series since I don't have to daily drive anything anymore.

Swap was done around 4.5 years ago at 250K miles and the cruiser currently has 264K miles.

Solid axle swap -
80 series front axle
Nitro chromoly axle shafts
Nitro 4:88 gears
ARB air locker front and rear
ARB twin compressor
King 14" coil overs
Ruff stuff steering components
80 series power steering gear box
105 series hubs to keep it 5 lug
Delta panhard bars
ARB adjustable panhard bar
Metal tech lower links and ARB upper links on rear axle
Biltstein shocks in the rear,
aty 5 - 37" cooper STT pros with a lot of life left

Engine -
timing belt/water pump along with everything else to do while in there was done at the 150K mile mark. Toyota and Aisin parts were used.

Other items -
Metal tech sliders
Custom mounted 105 series ARB bull bar
Comeup 9K winch
I have a SPOD comparable system from amazon that will come with it but haven't installed yet along with some other parts.

I'm sure I'm missing a lot more but these are the basics. Truck has been wheeled in Moab, all over Washington state, and Idaho. Does have pinstriping on paint and scratches on the passenger front door. I used this as a daily driver until I got a company truck now it has pretty much been sitting for the last 1.5 years. Because of that I want to get back into a 40.

I'm thinking around $20K or trade for a nicely built 40 series would be a fair price.

I did all of this before there were any kits and very many of the conversions out there. The coil over towers are from ruff stuff. The panhard bracket and brace is off an 80 frame. The frame and the engine mounts have been plated and supported.

How did you put a 105 front bar on 100 series? I thought 105 has same chassis as 80? 100 series chassis is wider ?

Nice, what I am expecting as well. Amazing rig, best of the luck with the sale!!
How does one get a 105 front bar in USA? I am just super curious. Since those 105 were never sold here.
It was a scratch and dent from ARB a long time ago. I bet they bring them into their seattle warehouse for the south America market. Might be worth trying to order one and seeing what happens.

might as well remove this ad. ive tried to get info, pics for a while now, one response, no pics sent, nothing
