After much deliberation, my wife and I have decided that it’s best at this time to let go of one of our 3 vehicles. I’ve gone back and forth in my mind for 2 months as to whether or not I want to let this thing go, mostly because I know I will likely never find another like it in this price range and this well taken care of. Anyways.. here are the details..

2000 Toyota Land Cruiser, only 131k miles, and 100% ready to hit the road or trails. Interior is immaculate and the leather and carpet are still stunning to be honest, no tears anywhere and the carpet literally looks new. Spent 80% of its life in California! Rust free, will send pictures underneath of course. Exterior is nearly perfect other than a couple blemishes on the rear end.. I will gladly send pictures, nothing major. Paint is excellent - zero paint fade anywhere on the vehicle, front bumper even looks like it just rolled off the assembly line freshly painted. Timing belt was completed at 116k. Currently riding on TAKO2’s that still look new. Sunroof, heated seats, rear power windows, door locks, heat, AC, and all other bells and whistles operate just as they did when it left the showroom. Frame rails that are visible with the running boards off have been hit with flat black rustoleum for aesthetic purpose. Clean Carfax, never in an accident. I have done the following since I’ve owned it within the last 2000 miles (other than the lift, which was installed by the previous owner):

-Starter Assembly (OEM/Denso)

-Poly Steering Rack Bushings (Whiteline)

-OME Medium Duty Lift (shocks, springs, and torsion bars)

-SLEE diff drop (entire crossmember)

-SPC UCA’s/Ball Joints

-Front CV Axle Assemblies (OEM)

-Front Hub Flanges (OEM)

-Front Brake Rotors (NAPA ultra premium coated)

-Front Brake Pads (Akebono/OEM)

-Front Wheel Bearings (Timken, perfectly adjusted)

-Lower Ball Joints (Japanese 555 brand)

-Hub Flange Gaskets (OEM)

-Front Diff/Rear Diff/Transfer case fluids (ALL Mobil 1 Full Synthetic)

-Spark Plugs (OEM)

-Air Filter (OEM)

-New Coolant (OEM)

-Oil Change

-BRAND NEW Weathertech Mats! (tan in color, not shown in pictures)

-Alignment

The following parts that I have laying around are included with the sale. None of these parts are needed at this time, I am just extremely OCD when it comes to maintenance and every time I sell a vehicle it pays off greatly for those who purchase them.

-Exhaust Manifold (Drivers, OEM)

-Exhaust Manifold Gasket (OEM)

-Front Diff Seals (OEM. Factory seals are currently 100% bone dry, these are for preventive only)

-PCV Valve (OEM)

-Valve Cover Gaskets (OEM, again the factory gaskets are perfectly fine. Bought for future preventative replacement)

-Front Driveshaft U-Joints (OEM)

-Rear U-Joints (Spicer)

-Extra Rebuilt OEM Starter

-Running Boards (OEM)

-5 Quarts Toyota OEM Trans Fluid for your next drain and fill!

I have receipts to prove everything that I’ve listed above. Truck needs absolutely nothing but a new home. Front control arm bushings are still perfect, ABS power wire screws still look BRAND NEW with zero corrosion so a failed ABS unit should not even cross your mind, zero weird noises while driving. I am an ASE certified technician, parts specialist, and service manager.. I spent 4 years as a tech at our local Toyota dealership before moving into management. I know my way around every Toyota 4x4 built in the last 3 decades. You can fly in and buy with 100% confidence. If there’s a better deal on a 100 series that has been gone through the way I have this one, in this price range, I would be utterly shocked. Price is firm at $13,750 and I consider that to be an awfully good deal considering what some people want for VERY iffy examples. Transaction will take place at my bank in Evansville Indiana since I still owe on the truck. Title is released on the spot to me, and then to you. If you want the truck shipped, you can arrange the wire transfer and shipping method. We have a rather large airport here in Evansville. Fly in, drive it home.. or to Moab, or Ouray, or Alaska. Please CALL or TEXT me at (812) 598-3127. Have 20+ pictures I can text, will only let me upload 5 here.

Very nice and fair asking price with all the maintenance and such. GLWS!

Nice truck but the cosmetic stuff would cost at least $1000 to fix. I can live with mechanical issues but not cosmetic.

Thanks you for the input. I suppose we all have our varying opinions on that matter. The condition of the rest of the truck greatly outweighs the minor cosmetic issues on the back. If someone was not able to complete the mechanical work I have already done they would be out SEVERAL thousand dollars in parts and labor. A few scratches here and there seems to be a small price to pay for an otherwise incredible vehicle.

Also, please note that one of the pictures of the group of scratches was double posted. So, subtract one ‘cosmetic issue’ from what is shown.

Lastly, please account for the number of people who do not disclose cosmetic information beforehand or who are not meticulous enough to make it an issue of importance when selling their vehicle. You will not find any other spots than what I’ve shown.

That’s all easily fixable stuff. Going back and having good maintenance is impossible to recreate.

Your commentary is unnecessary. If you care more about cosmetics than mechanicals perhaps a Land Rover forum would be a better place for you to hang out.

I agree, don't know why I was in such a pissy mood. I wasn't trying to be smart just pointing out that it would cost dollars to get that fixed just like the mechanical issues, that's all. Apologies to OP if I offended him with my earlier comment

No harm, no foul.

Appears to be an honest presentation of a pretty clean early 100.

Better to see these kinds of listings than BS-laden flipper ads. Where they don't show you anything and put absurd Asks on them.

GLWS

Sent you a PM. I'm interested. Very nice truck and I don't give a f**k about the cosmetic issues!

That's my MAN.... Lets see how far you go through it and please, don't let few hundred dollars break the deal now...
