200-series seats vs. 100-series seats: any difference?

I currently have 256K miles on my 2006 LC, and am thinking of upgrading to a 2014 LC. I find my seats to be a bit uncomfortable, but I'm thinking it may just be all the miles on them.

If I upgrade, are the seats any different, or do they use the same seats (they look the same)?

They are not the same seats. You'll have to take an extensive test drive in the '14 to make sure you are comfortable. Only you can determine that, since seat comfort is subjective and personal. I find both the 100 and 200 seats very comfortable, with the surface of the 200 being a bit softer.

Major difference to me was the loss of the integrated armrest provided in the 100 series. I personally miss that, but just about everything else in the 200 is better. The 200 seats themselves I found to be as comfortable, if not more comfortable than the 100 seats.

The 200 seats don’t wrap as much as the100. - Flattter on outer edges. But...I can drive 20 hours straight in the 200 and seats remain comfortable. Lower the butt, raise the thighs, extend the lower back support...and avoid sitting too far back (avoid legs being too straight)...and you’re golden.

I agree with all this 100% in bold.

Now the avoid sitting too far back stuff, I thought @Markuson said he was 6'3" somewhere on here. I am almost 6'3" and I have to have the seat all the way back to drive my LC.

I am 6’3” but have a long torso.
Main point was...make sure knees are bent or it’s tough on lower back. I sit a little closer than you might expect, but then lean the seat back a bit extra.

For me, I set the butt to its lowest (to the floor) and thigh support to its highest. Let my knees bend enough so skinny pedal leg can rest on pad to the right...
Another factor for not pushing too far back is that the steering wheel doesn’t extend very far...so sitting a litttle closer puts the steering wheel in a more comfortable spot without having to extend arms for hours.
