I have a 2009 200 series with about 95K Kms on it.
I'm running Kings 3.0 all around with Dobinsons 50mm coils in the rear.

I have a rattle in the rear somewhere I can seem to isolate.

It almost sounds like there's a play in the rear pads but the sound doesn't change with the foot on the brake or the handbrake slightly engaged so I don't believe brake related.

What I have checked and or done so far:
Rear pads, anti rattle shims and back plates are all ok
Rear handbrake shoes are in good condition and adjusted correctly
Rear shock mounts are good and tight
Rear shock heims are new
Exhaust and heat shields are ok
Fuel tank guard is good
Spare wheel is properly secured
All arms are good and tight and all the bushing looks good

What am I missing?

One idea is worn top mount bushings on the Kings creating play so you get metal on metal contact. Search for past posts by @Taco2Cruiser - he said he's seen a lot of the Kings urethane bushings wear out quickly. If it is that, Filthy Motorsports can probably hook you up with parts.

Is the factory spare tire mount in place and cranked tight?

Is the jack still being held down by the rubber strap? Any loose tools or accessories in that compartment?

Interesting, I'll pull the shocks out tomorrow and check the top mount bushing.

Spare wheel is good and tight.
I'm certain the rattle is on the outside, you can barely hear it with the windows rolled up, that said... the jack and tools are all well secured as well.

I got a new vibration/rattle with my king 2.5s over washboard roads that I’m pretty sure is one or both of the rear reservoir mounts. I seem to remember 3.0s having different mounts though..
