That doesn't sound like fun.
I always run a sprinkler under the truck for a while to loosen everything. Still doesn't get it all off, and I don't even have the Texas clay like you, just good ole mud.

Yeah, took me hours to get all that off. Removed all the skid plates and found about 10 pounds more dried East Texas clay. Crap is like concrete.

LOL, I think the expression you're looking for is "You Play, You Pay"....:p

Yes. That's the right saying. So darn fun, though!

Not that serious, I'm just a clown in the clown car on the way to the circus.

sbly,

can you look at the exhaust pipe and let me know what the mesh says - the one with the tire carrier looks like one of mine (STREIT)

If it is i'd like to know how the TLC is holding up after a couple yrs. With the 12x18 sliding and the 8x11 drop downs in the quarter - the truck must be a 2009-2010

xkennx,

I checked a couple of the 200's and none of them have anything on the exhaust pipe except a mesh cover. But the couple of 70 series I checked did have the "STREIT" welded on the exhaust pipe mesh.

it was near the end of 2010 - we switched from the mesh to the streit logo - If those are the 4.2l (NON turbo) I am sorry. The can't keep up with the Donkey carts in Basra. Mind sending me a PM which security firm your working with - might actually know some of the same people.

The majority of them are the non turbo models. It would sure be nice to see how a 5.7L would handle the extra weight of the armor. I have to ask, why did you guys go with the Yoko Geolander tires?

We also run a few 70 series that work well but they are pain in the a** to get in and out of with your monkey suit on.
