Stumbled across these beauties at a truck stop in Charleston, WV. o_O:clap:

GX-R 200's. If they're not brand new they're extremely clean. Gray cloth interior, no sunroof, steel wheels. No, I didn't climb up on the trailer to get a peek inside. :hillbilly:

GX-R 200 - so many questions. For starters they don't have the amber parking lights required by us dot/standards.
So - what am i looking at? A middle east special import? Maybe this is more common than i think.

Several answers to the many questions.

U.S. Military units often bring over vehicles they operationally use overseas to use for training here. Africa is a good example of small units (special ops) using the 200-series.

Foreign countries often send equipment to U.S Defense contractors to be modified and/or additional equipment added that's manufactured by said contractor.

I remember seeing a picture of some 200's being armored here in the U.S., but can't remember if they were U.S. spec or not?

Broken arrow is an absolute blast.

If you start before 9 you’ll have the place to yourself. No pink jeeps until we were on our way out.

I'd say @Apline4x4 is spot on. Either being sent to be up armored or used by the .mil or DOD contractors, etc. Those vehicle are definitely unobtainium for the regular US consumer.
