what program is that or filter?

Group trip with local Beach n' Toys members out to Fish Creek primitive camp. Has rained a LOT recently in SoCal, the weather was spectacular, and the ground wet. The washes were active and needless to say it was a fun "muddy" day.

These grills come in Piano Black...so I painted it FLAT...
(Posted my Flat Black painted grill to "What have you done this week"...but thought it might be worth posting here too. Thanks for input from those who saw my earlier question!)

Got it mounted with just zip-ties so I might play around with the Black TEQ logo I also have on back. By cutting off the rear screw-mounts on the emblem (I've heard people had trouble with screws coming loose) and just using zips, I also avoided having to Dremel the grill. So I can change at any time if I wanna try confusing people wth the TEQ badge. ;)

Here's the TEQ badge option:

...but I'm happy with how it came out.

Looks good. The teq silver/black teq badge may look good also. Hard to tell just on the grille vs. having it on the truck.

Thanks. Pretty happy with the zip-tie option because I could switch to that TEQ without a problem. If you look to the right of the first T and left of the A, you can see where the ties are, but not really noticeable. So much easier to center with the rear screw-pegs trimmed.

I may be the only person here, but I`m not really a big fan of those mesh grills... They kinda remind me ricer`s cars a little bit.
They aren`t exactly the same kind as those on FJ40.

But I`m a big fan of TEQ badge now! Where did You bought it?

You no likely my grill? That's OK. I appreciate your honesty.

As for tge "ricer" comment? Do you mean like little 4-cylinder civics with giant wings on the back? Is that what a "river" is. Hmm... Well 200's are built in Japan where rice is popular... but... Meh. I think it will look good when I add my flat-black winch bumper...and it does away with all front chrome.

About the TEQ badge... There's a guy who makes them and sells them on eBay. Solid aluminum and very nice. He does them in round or oval in either red or black. I have one in place of the normal Toyota badge on the back & I like it a lot. I might stick one on the grill just to make people scratch their heads...

$35

No offence about "ricer" thing :D just a lot of "mesh" civics with giant wings around my area, that`s why I`m not a fan.

As for the TEQ badge - thanks, I`ll check it out!

I try to ignore those silly cars that try to make a 125hp civic look like a melted jet, so I wouldn't have noticed...but I shall make sure to avoid sticking a giant wing in back... ;)

Personally, my flat black was to de-blingify, if anything.

we already have a wing on the back - how else would we keep this block of Velveeta on the ground at the speeds we drive - Krafty!

Ha!

Honestly, I di question the point of having that little spoiler back there. It certainly doesn't help keep dirt road dust from caking THICK on it. I wish there was an air re-direct that blew air down the window to help clear it... Seems like some 80 series had one like that...
