OK. First post of my 6 week old 2016. Yes, the KO2s are on it. This is from the Twin Lakes area of Colorado. I was up early to shoot the sunrise on the valley with the Aspen leaves changing. Not exactly hard core off road action!

Is that not the most SOLID-feeling vehicle...ever?

Nice to see you enjoying it!

It does feel great. Towed in cross winds today - no issues. Lots of curves, climbs, descents and oncoming traffic and plenty of 65mph all on a 2 lane highway. No surprise to many of you but it felt great.

@Markuson, how is your recovery going?

Hangin' in there... Still not home. Leg muscles still not working. Nerve damage, so leg just kinda "there."

Cool thing: I met a neuro-surgeon here on Mud...who personally knows THE expert in the Western hemisphere who specializes in my weird type of damage...so I'm hopeful that I can seek help from the BEST at St. Louis' Washington University Hospital if I'm still in trouble in a month.

Just picked up my new to me 09 LC. It's nice so far. Wish I had done just a bit more research though. It has a Brembo BBK and I have now learned that it limits me to 20"+ That throws a wrench in my build plans but I'll figure it out. Roof basket needs to go and be replaced with a Gobi stealth. I'm eager to start modding

Oh man, I don't know, that BBK might be the best thing that could happen - those are amazing. There's a few nice 20" options out there that will work with BFG KO2s. Check out the Tundra BBS wheels, and there's a few Method wheels that would suit in the 15-25 offset range.

And if it really screws you up, lets meet up and I'll happily trade my wheel/tire/brake setup for yours!!!

Lol, don't get me wrong, ever since I bought my IS-F I told my self I would always have BBK's on my vehicles, I was just hoping for 18's. I was actually looking at the Method NV's and the Roost. Not sure how the Roost would look in the LC body style bue I've always liked that wheel. The NV at +25 should bring me close to flush which I would really like. The Roost is +18 so I'm not real sure how it would look.

I'm with you. Drop those 20"ers off in Los Angeles and put some real BOOTS on that beast.

Top of the World...after Ouray (solo)...where most of my bumper scrapes happened. ;)

What a view!

What you CAN'T see from the angle...is that my tires were actually about 7 inches from the edge... I've got a video I shot as I went through the check-list before backing off--so that I didn't make the classic mistake of accidentally going forward... In that video, I catch a view out the driver window that even shocks ME when I watch it... :) Fun stuff.

I wonder who will be the guy that finally breaks that "diving board" rock OFF and goes Wee wee weeeeee...all the way "home..." :-O

Those are Russian custom made. Mine is early production, here is what they are offering now - larger intake and overall diameter. you can contact them here
MonsterService | Fiberglass tuning factory

This definitely looks sleek - Infact Arctic Russia have started to use them in their LC200 and I compared it with the TJM AirTech snorkels and to be honest - i don't see how this sleek design provides the 'required/adequate' air volume into the engine and the process of particle/water separation etc.
