I'm over 90k now and am wondering what services are due or on the horizon. Where can I find this info?

Thanks.

where have you been dukmon???

without a timing belt I'm guessing it's just going to be all the fluids and filters, but someone with more detail will hopefully chime in!

Long story....... family stuff. Past two months have been some of the worst in my life.

My brother died of a drug overdose. My oldest son tried to commit suicide.

Anyhoo......

Time has helped somewhat and I'm back.

Yeah..... I'd rather go to the dealer with my hat on my head, not in my hand.

You'll have to grease the propeller shaft (whatever that means). I hope to have someone chime in about how to do that though, as I have never done it, and my 80k service is coming in 300 miles.

The side view mirror trim pieces that cover the screws, I cannot get the damn things back on without damaging them. So I need to visit the dealer.

Figured I'd just drop my truck off and get them to do what services are needed/recommended at that time.

I hardly every use a dealership to perform service though. I must be getting lazy.

I'm not going to tell you how to grease your propeller shaft:)

I usually get the wife to do that for me; as often as possible.

Where do you lube the drive shaft? Are there Zerk fittings? What kind of grease is recommended?

Per toyota maintenance 90,000 Miles Replace Oil, Oil Filter, Replace Air Filter, Replace Cabin Filter, Replace transfer case oil, front/rear differential oil and Rotate Tires

Gcc cruisers get the "propeller shafts greased" every 10k. There's grease nipples on them and just pump them with a grease gun. I'll try to crawl under the cruiser and get a pick. Also I'll try to find my dealer maintenance list as well as the pages off the owners manual and post them up here

That will be about $800 at Lexus. Find an independent shop you can trust. Pick up all the fluids you will need in synthetics and stand and watch them do it (which you can't do at Lexus. Should cosy about $100 plus what ever you pay for the fluids. You can pop in a new air filter. Screw the cabin filter unless you live in a real dusty area. Mine have always looked new every time I've changed them. But if you want it done then have the dealer do the cabin filter. I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Glad you are back. If you were still under warranty I might then have the dealer do it but at 80k your warranty is history

Besides the oil/filter/air cleaners/lube you do the coolant at 100K. The next pricey one is at 120K which is the sparkplugs (Dealer wants $340 do the plugs, but you can buy the Denso's or NGK's on Amazon for @$70.

Weird timing. An auto generated email from my mechanic received last night. No sheet.......

This is from my service centre. But it's a basic guideline for most models and mainly rely on whats in the owners manual.

Looks like they have you covered how much and can you stand there and watch to confirm they did everything?

I haven't gotten a number from them concerning cost. I'd bet they'd have no issue letting me watch the work performed. They're pretty good folks, the mechanic for all of our cars.
