2 door fj60

Hey, I've been playing around with photoshop, and was wondering if anyone has built anything like this?

I remember someone building a nice white bob-tail fj60, and was wondering if anyone has gone farther than that? This pic cuts about 8-9" from the cab and frame, then bobs the rear end about 5". With plexiglass, it might be possible to replace the glass on the quarters. Any ideas?

I really like this idea and it looks great aswell i could be tempted to do the same with mine because the back is to long and extending the wheel base makes the middle to long

Well, I've got WWAAAYYYYY too much time into mine to do anything like this with my current rig right now. If someone were were to GIVE me another fj60, I would consider doing something like this over the summer. I couldn't imagine my wife signing off on this kind of project, though, especially if it cost me more than just welding material and an insane amount of time...

Looks like a Bronco II to me. I think it'd look better if it had a longer wheel base.

I reckon that's about the wheel base that I would want mine to be a mid wheel base

I'm not fishing for a free cruiser - btw - just wondering if anyone has shortened a cruiser this much.

this is my curuiser, 400mm (15.7") of the body and frame gone!

i also toyed with the idea of making it a two door but gave up when my photochop looked like yours.. i mean i do like it, but its not for me

I only went half way with mine, it's a three door....well, for now anyways.
I don't think the doors on the 60 are long enough to make a two door really practical for rear passengers.
I half asses looked at it and thought it would be a bitch to get into the back.
