OK - some personal observations:
A) Real 2-doors with back seats have longer doors & folding front seats. Not that it'd be impossible to a master fabricator but he'd need custom glass made (which he'd also need for the rear side windows) & I might have an idea who could do it;
B) The raised TOYOTA on baxter650's back window frame is clever - any idea how he did it?
C) No one ever likes your pet project like you do. I think it would be a great alternative to a hardtop 40. A couple guys around here lifted big Lexus utes & put massive drivetrains underneath. Really pissed off the country club crowd (which was the original idea IMHO). One was 6WD!

It's somewhere in the middle of his thread. But I believe he took it from the tailgate of a Tacoma/Minitruck or something and welded it to the tailgate, then ground it down (made it look nice) then painted over it.
