What's wrong with that custom steering wheel wrap?? Just because it bothers you guys so much, it'll be the last thing I'll touch and will be included in every pic with a little extra fraying each time:flipoff2:

Here you go Craabs :D:D:D :flipoff2:

2000uzj you forgot the panel gap on his glovebox. Replace with..... Glovebox and CB setup?:flipoff2:

That was the first time the back seat had been in in 10 years and my kids were the first to ever sit it. Still smells like new leather!! The mud on the floor mat was my big ass foot print climbing in the back to try to get a better shot of that steering wheel "cover". Agreed on the headlight conversion and eventually bumpers/slider ect......
What is the BEST headlight upgrade. Leaning towards the JD dims and Slee's highs.

I just noticed the Volvo 850.

The two happiest days of owning that car were the day I bought and sold it.

Actually, It's V70R AWD which has been an awesome car. bought it with 48K miles and going strong at 210k with no major issues. Will probably keep it forever...

Nice looking rigs ;).

You will want to run airbags when towing your trailer. Using the 10% tongue weight rule you probably will have 350-400lbs of tongue weight.

FYI: I use the Airlift bags and they've proven themselves to be tough and durable.

Thanks spressomon,
So would you go with the heavy load lift even though it will be empty most of the time with the Airlift bags when needed, or heavy load lift + bags? Our roads here at the coast suck and we live 4 miles up the old HWY 101 which would be better off gravel and has eaten suspensions over the years.

I would stay with the medium. I think that is the OME 865 spring or Slee equivalent. If you decide to add rear bumper, tire carrier, drawer units and get it set up for overland exploring type trips then its relatively easy to swap springs out later. But the 865 is a very nice linear rate spring that you will be very happy with on and off-road...and coupled with the air bags you will have good versatility.

FYI: My KK trailer has a tongue weight of approximately 300-350 lbs and the Airlift bags have performed very well. Its the best overall set of compromises (everything is a compromise...right?!). Set up, despite the instructions, the air lines separate to each bag. That will keep them from pumping air back and forth on curves.

I like the aluminum sled, you go after steelies someplace in OR??? :grinpimp:

I'm about to pull the trigger on an '07 v70r, good to hear that's been a nice reliable ride for you...

Nice Truck - Welcome!

Jonathan

Wouldn't waste th money on fuel for steelies. Taste like the bottom of the river. Catch and release them im the back yard (seriously in the back yard). Sled is for Chinook, stergeon, crab'n, Tuna, Bay, Ocean, Hells Canyon, Columbia, Santiam, Shasta, and just about everything in between. North River is a quality, multipurpose boat that will take a lot of abuse.
The "R" has been great and very fun to drive. Time for rear shocks to the tune of $500 and I install. Nothing is cheap on these things.
I could go on for days with the bronco's so don't get me started there......If your interested in EB's, check out Bronco Chat - ClassicBroncos.com Forums a few pics of mine....

i have always loved the way those old Broncos look, and I finally figured out why. Looks ALOT like a FJ/BJ70?... very similar form factor anyhow.
