Please do talk about me in the 3rd person. I'm offering up my numbers for international scrutiny and in the end it will help me....hopefully help lots of people.
There's no doubt that a second or larger radiator will help me. My cooler is removing 75% of the heat it theoretically can, and of course that theoretical amount is always going to be dependent on the water supplied to it.
My intake path is far from optimal and is almost certainly affecting flow at high boosted cfm. I have a couple of nasty little bends and choke points and resolving this is going to be a fairly high priority for me. Part of that will involve the plenum entry which makes it a no brainer to enlarge it at the same time.
Re: turning down my boost, it would necessitate some minor tuning adjustments because I'm adding fuel a little bit aggressively through mid range rpms because my turbo just flies through that range so quickly.
I'm tuned for max egt at full boost, heavy throttle, heavily loaded up, and moderately high altitude. Off boost is set for a puff off the line which clears pretty much immediately and the spring preload just prevents me from being obnoxious at partial boost. Basically just a haze when I'm stepping on it. It isn't perfect and I know Graeme or the guys at ATEB could do a much better job but I prefer to do it myself and know exactly what I've done and why, even if someone else could do it better.
