Do you think this is a leaking turbo?
I was told to get a catch can and it should prevent this from happening. However, when I installed an Intercooler, the hose from the intake crossover pipe to the turbo had some oil residue. Thanks!

it could just be the oil feed line leaking.. but if its internally leaking time to change out the turbo

Is the intake tube from the air filter to the turbo oily inside?

Common for oil from the crankcase vent to make an oily mess in the intake tubes, turbo, and intake manifold. This can get worse in older engines if you have s but more blow by.

I'd start by cleaning out the main intake hoses, see if that stops it.

A catch can can help, but if they don't flow adequate airflow, they can cause the crank case to be pressurised leading to high oil use.

Could also be a bad oil seal in the turbo, so it's worth checking out the turbo too.
