lol was just about to say the same thing. love the radium catch can mounted there though, looks great!

same for me, I definitely catch enough oil in both to warrant having them both, but the pre-PCV can catches about 10x more. Part of that might be because the can is pre-PCV but I like knowing my PCV valve isn't getting clogged up with crud.

Rerouted it yesterday and it’s much happier. Kinda wild it ran as well as it did set up that way. That was one of the last things I did at hour 20 the night before we left for AK.
leaving for a 7500 mile trip on a 0 mile motor was nerve wracking.

I’m still debating a second can for the breather later on.

A little shameless self promotion - check out our catch can kit and forum thread!

Our kit includes everything needed for a super clean and compact install, and it ships right to your door. The catch can itself has been trusted by many members for years (we have linked multiple threads in our post), and we have personally run it for about 70,000 miles over the past 7 years. The kit is made up of quality parts, including the USA made catch can, a custom cut OEM Toyota PCV hose, a USA made aluminum bracket, and brass barb fittings. If you're interested, please take a moment to read through the thread or visit our website. We really appreciate the support!

@EPIC Cruisers — looks like a great solution for NA FZs. if you design a bracket for catch cans like this one, I’d be your first customer.
We hear ya, this is one of the most common comments we have gotten. Our goal with this kit was to keep things as compact and OEM looking as possible. By keeping it small and using this otherwise unused nook, we think we accomplished that goal while still providing a usable capacity. We also wanted to keep the kit relatively affordable with quality parts. That Radium catch can is very nice but it costs more than our entire kit. That said, you bring up a great idea about offering brackets for popular catch cans 🤔 Definitely something we will look into!

Yeah, I think I spend $500 on 2 of those radiums. I put them on “temporary mounts” that have been there for like 3 years at this point 🤣

There’s nobody making a mounting bracket for that location and it looks like the best place for Turbo’d 80 crew. Maybe even connect with @Cruisers and Co as they are now the Official Turbo Dudes. Every turbo’d 80 should have catch cans.

Haha yeah, that sounds about right...temporary mounts always seem to turn into permanent ones 🤣

But we're taking a look into it! Offering a larger catch can option might not be out of the question. It could benefit both turbo/SC folks, as well as anyone who just wants the added capacity. Some late night research led us to order two different larger catch cans for testing/development. Like I mentioned, we might end up offering just the bracket, hose, fittings, and hardware to help keep costs down while letting customers source their own catch cans from popular brands.
