Selling my 1998 100 series that I purchased on the forum from this thread https://forum.ih8mud.com/vehicles-t...7-98-100-series-black-lockers-located-nc.html in 2009.
Vehicle is black with grey leather, has 3rd row, cd, and yes, the magic dial. Current milage is 201,200, has standard options, has running boards but I removed them, I can reinstall, throw in the back, or throw away depending on what buyer wants. Vehicle is in good shape for what it is. This has been a daily driver, with 3 kids, on some trails (no crawling) so it has the normal dings and chips. No wrecks or major damage or repairs, carfax available.
For the last year I've had a company car so this only gets driven a couple hundred miles a month, wife has a 4runner, so I really don't need this. I remember how bad I wanted a 100 series when I found it and would rather pass it on to someone else that would use it as it should be.
Minor issues with truck: wheels and bumpers are faded, small dent in the rear gate, sunroof deflecter chiped paint (now removed), hood has a few spots (my guess is bird poop that didn't get washed off fast enough) drivers seats looks bad on edge (but not cracked all the way through), the wood trim looked faded so I've removed some, some is still there, dog chewed on edge of rear mudflap, rear bumper has a small crack, back windows are slow to roll up, one fog light looks bad, power lubmar doesn't work, thats all I can think of. AC/heat, heated seats work great, has after market trailer hitch mounted.
I don't want to make the truck sound worse than it is, just want to point out all the, what I would consider minor things that should be expected with a truck this old with this mileage, with the above in mind, I think anyone seeing the truck in person will be pleased with it's condition and think that I am being "picky". Toyo Open Country 285/75/16 have about 50% left.
Timing belt was done at 110k so is due another. Price is $8k firm as-is, I can have local mechanic do timing belt, water pump, plugs, serp belt for $800, thus if I do that, will raise price accordingly, or new buyer can do themself or locally.
I'll be happy to send more pics/answer questions to anyone interested, vehicle is located in Hickory, NC. I work a strage 12 hour rotating shift so my responses may be delayed a bit.
