Hi everyone - I'm considering selling a LC I inherited from my Mom a couple of years ago. I'm not sure how to value it and would appreciate any feedback. It has 120,000 miles and was purchased 6 months old in 1999 from a family friend. It sat in a covered driveway for about 6 years at my Mom's house. I have driven it irregularly, but used it as a daily driver for about 6 months. The tires have low miles and the timing chain was replaced 3 years ago. I put an Ironman front replacement bumper on. It runs well and also needs some love.

There are a handful of things that would affect the value: there is a large area of chipped paint on the passenger door, there is a dent which I think could be popped out on the rear passenger panel, the sunroof wasn't working when I got it so I had it sealed (it does not leak), there is an engine light on which I had a mechanic look it; he said it was a loose wire deep in the engine that requires me to turn the key a couple of times to get it started about half the time; he said he could fix it by dropping the engine or I could turn the key an extra time which is what I elected to do, some of the decals need to be replaced, there are small tears along the edges of the drivers side chair so I covered them, the windows roll up slowly, the locking system can't lock/unlock 5 times in a row which is important because you need to be able to do that in order to program new keys to the remote lock; it seems reasonably easy to replace those but I never got around to it.

I'm 90% ready to sell because it isn't getting driven and taking up space in the driveway, but it is tough to value. If you're interested in purchasing or could help with a value, please let me know!

This doesnt add up and I would recommend taking it to another shop or buy a 30 dollar scanner from amazon. Sounds like you have a check engine light for something, but also a dying starter which is common on these.

In my opion as the truck sits right now its def a sub 10k car. Low miles but the door actuator motors, starter, mystery cel, door rust, etc...

It would be BAT worthy if you put some money into it. Fix all the problems above, and slap an oem front bumper on and you could get 20k on bat.

If you're looking to sell it quick with no headache then you're in the right place.

Interested but I agree with above statements regarding some things not adding up fully with the starter and CEL. I would be willing to pay for this but will all depend on sorting some things out and your price. Willing to talk further.
