FOR SALE is my 1998 LX470 River Rock Green Mica VIN: JT6HT00W1W0005433
  • Located in Salt Lake City, Utah. I have the Utah title free and clear
  • 2nd owner
  • 225k miles
  • 3rd row seats not shown in pics, but I have them in my basement and will include them
  • $11,500 OBO. Open to reasonable offers.
  • Very clean, recently detailed. Only sun fading of any paint is present in pictures on the front grille and rear bumper. Mostly stock
  • Rust is minimal to non-existent
  • Tow package
  • My uncle was the original purchaser in April 1998 from Thompson Lexus in Doylestown, PA. He was very meticulous to keep a clean and rust-free car, even in the winter of the northeast, regularly washing the underbody to stop road salt caused rust. The vehicle was regularly serviced at Thompson Lexus while he lived there. I have all receipts for scheduled maintenance and other work performed.
  • My uncle moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2003, where the car spent the next 20 years as his daily driver. No more road salt for snow. The vehicle was serviced primarily at Johnson Lexus in Raleigh, NC and various other mom and pop auto care centers in central NC.
  • My uncle passed away in 2023, at which time I took possession of the vehicle and titled it in Utah, where I currently live and DD it.
  • I’ve done all the maintenance myself since 2023, including a new battery, Timing belt (from Cruiser Outfitters), Pass. CV axle (OEM Toyota), Wheel Bearings: Cruiser Teq Kit, Inner and outer tie rods (555 brand), Upper Control Arms, retrofitted OME 1.5” suspension, and random other bulbs and fuses. All done between 218,000 miles and current milage.
  • Original AHC was intermittently working in 2023 at 218,000 miles, so I went ahead and retrofitted a standard OME suspension. Globes and lines are still bolted to the car. OME standard weight springs for 1.5” lift. Sale comes with a set of heavy 2” Ironman Offroad springs I didn’t get around to putting in. If I add more than 300 ish lbs of cargo, the rear will sag.
  • Routine oil changes every 6 months since I acquired it in June 2023 with Kirkland brand 5w-30 oil and Toyota YZZD3 filters.

Potentially. What do you have to offer?
1989 FJ62. 174K miles. Solid frame. Mostly original except ARB bull bar, older OME suspension (medium, I believe), tuffy center console, WiredWagon headlight harness. Have the original front bumper in mint condition. Good interior. Repainted at some point with peeling clear coat in the last couple years. Very presentable though. PS A pillar leaks. 33-10.5-15 KO2's on powder coated rims with <5K miles. New battery last fall. (photo is 4 years old. there is additional clear coat peeling on DS currently.)
