She's on her way back home. Next up is sound deadening/insulation, installation of audio system, and final re-assembly of interior.

Slow-going, but it’s starting to feel like progress towards getting her back on the road. Work and life have limited my shop nights.

Been doing sound deadening/insulation, QPM, and audio wiring.

Finally have all four door cards in, so now I could finally drive it home and do the first wash and wax. 6M1 in the sun. ☀️

What's your assessment of the Macropoxy after time and use? I'm curious because if it's survived the MI winters, it'll likely survive anywhere.

BTW, you have the best color of any 80; I'm totally biased - 6M1 was my first. Really gorgeous truck.

The Macropoxy is still solid, but I have not subjected it to any wintry weather. After it was back on the road, I put about 4,700 miles on it (summer/fall) before it got shipped to Arizona for paint. Now that it is back and the paint/body are perfect, I'm probably going to park it as soon as it is salt season.
