!!!!SOLD!!!!1997 Champagne Pearl LX450 For Sale $9000, Washington D.C./Maryland area

SOLD!

The truck is well looked after and I am selling because I need a tow rig for the FJ40 and don’t need to carry around 4 vehicles for 2 drivers.

Description:
• 1997 Champagne Pearl/Platinum LX450. I am second owner, bought with 83,000 miles in 2004.
• 162,000 miles
• Head gasket replaced at 100k by Toyota dealership with all Toyota parts. Water pump, all hoses and PHH replaced at same time.
• Factory front and rear diff locks
• (5) 285/75-16 (33") BFG TA/ KO tires with lots of tread on factory Lexus LX450 wheels (tires rotated every other oil change)
• ARB Bull Bar front winch bumper (stock front bumper available if you want it)
• Kaymar rear bumper with tire and gas carrier
• Old Man Emu 2.5” lift kit with 1.5”poly spring spacers. I have caster correction bushings and Landtank’s template; not installed
• Metal Tech 4x4 Transmission/T-case skid plate
• Borla Stainless steel cat-back exhaust with new cats and O2 sensors
• 7 pin mod and center diff switch installed.
• AC blows cold and works 100%
• XM radio antenna installed
• Stock interior, six CD changer, 3rd row seats.
• Husky floor liners installed
• Dash cupholder installed
• X-tra brake pads and oil filter as well as some other spare parts included
• New windshield installed in October.

List of work done in the last year:
• New front and rear calipers, rotors and pads
• Front and rear driveshaft u-joints replaced with Toyota u-joints
• New factory Toyota plug wires
• NGK plugs
• Factory Toyota distributor cap and rotor
• Toyota air filter
• New battery
• Crankshaft seal and oil pump seal replaced (new cover installed)
• Distributor seal replaced
• New belts installed
• Oil and filter changed at 160K with Rotlella 15W-40 and Toyota Filter
• P401 fixed with new VSV (under intake plenum)
• Electric trailer brake controller installed

Known issues:
• Paint peeling on right front plastic fender flare (I have rattle cans of factory colors and clearcoat) I may get around to fixing it depending on how long it takes to sell. It seems to be somewhat common for whatever reason.
• There are a few chips in the paint, but it is in overall excellent condition. No rust.
• Full detail done inside and out in October
• Wheel-skinz leather steering wheel cover installed in October
• Front driver seat leather worn from entering and exiting vehicle
• CORRECTED!!!!! Low fuel light always on, Lights up bright when actually low. All gauges work perfectly. It's amazing what cleaning a connector and dielectric grease can do.

Asking $9,000 OBO. I have title in hand. Truck is in Waldorf, MD and I work near Andrews AFB if you want to take a look.
Please PM me if you have additional questions or need additional contact information. I will endeavor to respond to all questions/inquiries nightly.

Cheers,
Stump

When you say "No rust" do you mean no rust for east coast standards or no rust at all? Like a southern truck.

Thanks AKcruiserfreek, but yeah, AK is a bit far. I 've always wanted to do that drive. As far as the no rust goes, the os no rust on the body an only surface rust on the rear axle housing and the skid plates where the paint scraped off.

People have been requesting some more pics... I have some photos of the engine bay interior and center dash pic.
Update: security token issue is preventing me from posting pictures.
I will be taking some exterior pictures tomorrow.
