Selling my 1996 Land Cruiser Rust Free 147k original miles!

This has been a wonderful project and is just about ready to move on. This 80 was owned by an architect that lived in the Atlanta Suburb its whole life. This car was his child, he had no kids. He passed away and I purchased this from an estate auction in February as a fun project. I have a clear clean Georgia title in my name. The previous owner for over 20 years and did basic maintenance…. Meaning it really needed a good baseline. Other than oil changes, it really needed quite a list of TLC…. I have done the following:

Brakes:
Front rotors, pads, wheel bearings
Rear rotors, pads, adjustment of parking break

Engine:
PHH
All cooling hoses
Radiator
Heather control valve
Plugs
Wires
Cap and rotor
Distributor oil seal
Oil pump reseal
Oil pan reseal
Valve cover gasket
Denso air filter

Fluids:
Drain and fill
Transmission
Transfer case
Front differential
Rear differential

Other:
New All-Terrain Tires
All new restored front seats
Rebuilt seat motor and gearboxes
Paint is faded and all original with a Papies Patina coating.

Last thing not done yet is the rear seal is seeping on the engine. I have an appointment with my mechanic to drop the transmission and replace next month. This is the last item to make this truck perfect! You are more than welcome to come look before I have it changed but would prefer to finish that one last item before it goes to its next caretaker. Throwing it out there in case someone is starting to look for a really young 80. Mileage is documented and the Cruiser is incredible how tight and crisp it drives.

Heck yeah! This one will sell fast at that price!

It will not sell that fast because my mechanic is telling me like 3 to 4 weeks until he can get it in and I really want that last item fixed before it goes to the next owner.

Interested!!! Take my money!!!

Great price on a great 80! I'd pick it up as a third project if I had the space. Anyone close by go buy this beauty ASAP!

Had so many request for pictures, especially the most important part. The bottom went and took a bunch just now and you can see the slight seep from the rear main seal, and the rest of the engine is perfectly dry.

You can see the droplet of oil on the bottom of the bell housing. If you look closely when I change the oil obviously when I put the drain plug back in, I wiped that area clean hence it’s a little shiny where the drain plug is on the oil pan.

I wouldn’t worry about that slight drip on the main seal. Mine has leaked since I’ve had it and it had service records that it had recently been replaced when I bought it. It runs great!
