the MLS head gaskets are pretty primo...Two words - head gasket. Enough said there.
It is not required but looks much cleaner. I don't think there is need for the 1fz injector harness ect in the engine bay with your pretty v8I can see the benefit of it, but is eliminating the extra wiring required, a byproduct of integrating the GM and Toyota harnesses, or just a step taken to simplify future wiring/troubleshooting, etc? Keep up the good work.![]()

thanks man!! Did Mike figure out your guys hiccup? I need to call him on those radiators he is building. Nice guy! Sent from my iPhone using IH8MUDYou rock man!! Another awesome truck on your books!
I was just cutting the plate provided my marks and centering it in the mounting spot. It's not necessary but I'm just crazy like that it has to look perfect...I've seen it mentioned in a few swaps and it can sort of be seen in the image below, but can you give more details of how the marks x-fer shifter plate has to be modified to line up correctly in the original location? Source: Rockrod's build thread post #114
in the first pic you can see your LS2 in the background waitingLooking way too sweet!
You can do it in the truck, just messy.. Not too hard to do just time consuming and detail oriented. Buy a new vb plate while you at it.How hard was the shift kit to install? Could it be done with trans already in place?
Yeah buddy! Let me know!I need to get this done...RockJock you wanted to take an Alaskan vacation soon didn't you.![]()
