I've bought a UZJ100, and am now ready to let my FZJ80 go.

It is a white/beige 1996 FZJ80 with 149k miles. Unfortunately for members of this site, it DOES NOT HAVE THE FACTORY LOCKERS. It does have all the standard power options including sunroof. It has 3rd row seat, tow package (w/ 5 wire trailer plug for surge type trailer brake reverse lockout), 4 brand new BFG AT's, brand new Toyota brand rear brake pads, Tinted Windows, all SYNTHETIC fluids, K&N replacement air filter, K&N oil filter, Mobil 1 oil, all maintenance records. I have installed an Apline CD player and Infinity speakers. I will also include the factory components.

It is in overall great condition. There is one wear spot on the bottom drivers seat leather. It was originally a Florida vehicle, now in Tyler, Texas. I am a fellow Cruiserhead, and have treated this truck with the appropriate love and care. I have always spared no expense in it's maint and repair. It has been a great truck. I'm only selling it because I bought the 100, and can't justify keeping this one also.

I am asking $9500 OBO. I will entertain interesting trades for driveable 40's, (especially a 45LV Wgn), Toy-based buggies, Street Rods. Let me know what you've got to trade.

I cannot post good resol pics here.:frown: If you email me @ drjacobs2@yahoo.com, or call me @ 903-590-0316, I will send them directly to you.

No interest?

Am I way out of whack w/ my asking price? I thought I was in the ball park. I am negotiable. Is there no interst because it doesn't have lockers? Is it because I can't get better pics loaded? What is it? Please let me know.

I'll help you out. Your one and only picture is not good. Take some closeups of the front and rear seats, the tires, and the front and back of the 80.

The majority on this site want lockers, so that's strike two. Even most of us that don't need lockers, don't know how to engage them, and don't know how to use them, we want lockers.

Finally, what size are the new BFGs? :flipoff2:

Send some pics to timsigley@hotmail.com. I also have a built 4runner that I need to part with (for family reasons).

CruiserLegolas: Thanks for the reply/help. I knew the lockers would be an issue. Easily changed. The BFG's are stock replacement size 275/70/16's.

I have the requested pics, but Mud limits my ability to upload pics. I assume because I'm a "Rookie". The one I could load, had to be reduced so much that it lost all the resolution. I read the instructions at the top of the classified section. Not sure what to do diff.

Thanks again for taking time to give advice.

Sigs: I sent you several emails with pics.

Orig owner?

No, I bought it 9/30/01 from Toy dealer in Clearwater, FL when it had 76k on it. I moved to Tyler, TX 10/06. I only mentioned FL because it is usually a good thing to buy from non-snowbelt states. I will send pics. Thanks for the inquiry.

Thanks for the kind words

Hope it ends up yours too. Talk soon.

Trade?

Are you interested in trade for a stock 2004 Xterra with 23,000 miles? I'm looking to sell it and if I do, I would be interested in your Cruiser.

Are you interested in a 88FJ62 with 350tbi, SM465 tranny, NP205 t-case, SOA, landcruiser hybrid mini rear centered diff, 35" Maxxis Muds, 14" travel shocks all around?

pics of possible trades

Newcruiserhead,

I have others interested, but if you send me pics to my email; drjacobs2@yahoo.com, I'll consider them.

88FJ62 trade

Sorry, I went thru your build thread, nice work, and look forward to seing some 'after' pics, but I don't think your FJ62 is something that I "need". Thanks for the inquiry.

Do have a question for you on your build though. Did you end up using the stock ubolt plate on top of the springs? Did you use the stock lower shock mount? Interesting cheap (ie. free) solution. Obviously shock length would be an issue.

For the front and rear I did use the spring plates, for the front I used the stock shock-mounts, but put in shock hoops in for the 14" travel shocks. In the rear I made my own shock-mounts that attached to the axle and made some top shock-mounts that went above the stock placement for the 14" travel shocks.
