Its been awhile since I have been on MUD, but maybe that is because everything has been running great with my Cruiser. This has served me very well, and once I had the top end rebuilt, it has been great.
Would appreciate it if any thinks I am selling this for too much or not enough. A lot has been done with it and it drives great now.
1994 Toyota Land Cruiser - 80 Series FJ80 - $9500 obo
The good:
Body pretty good, dent in diver door, fully painted about 4 years ago, does have rock pits from 4x4 trails.
Interior – no rips or tears in seats, carpet used but ok.
A/C blows cold and has for 5 years.
Transmission works good
Transfer case works good, but lever to go from 4hi to 4lo is stiff to move
Center Diff Locker – standard
Doesn’t leak oil (or burn any for that matter)
Engine is strong, full power just like when new.
Just passed emissions on 7/30 – currently registered in Coconino County so wasn’t needed
Added:
285x75x16 BFG KO2’s with ½” / 1CM Tread left (probably 60-65% life left)
CamalBack Toyota completely rebuilt Head in Nov. 2017, along with (among other small thing):
BadLand 12000 lbs. winch with wireless remote
Sliders with CAT skid plate
CB Radio
Kenwood Head unit (may also let Amp and Sub go with).
Additional Range Rover Cup Holder up front
Aussie Rear Locker – This does click when turning corners
Replaced Power Antenna
Performed modification to raise tire carrier 4” up
Replaced Power Steering pump and pressure and return lines
Replace Front Disc’s with Performance Drilled and Slotted Disc’s and matching Pads.
Repacked front Barings
Added external Temp Guage (spliced in upper radiator hose)
New Brake Booster
OME Rear Heavies, 30mm spacer up front.
The Bad/Needed:
Headliner could use cleaning of glue spots or replace
Dent in Driver Door (battle scar), sanded and painted when happened
Small Vacuum leak that causes check engine light to come on, but goes back out. Never changes running condition.
Gas Mileage, but same as all 80 series Land Cruisers
Wheels and Tires are hard to balance, not sure why Discount has a hard time, but about 1 out of 5 times they get it perfect.
Reason I am selling this… wife doesn’t want to drive it, and I think I have my fill my mid-life crisis of 4 wheel drive trails.
