Lift done, Slee doesn't have any extended brake lines in stock so I'll be ordering those early next week. Scheduled a level III inspection for tomorrow so I can get the the OK that it's road worthy. Picked up a 3 day tag and drove it to work today. I have the front sway bar out right now so it has a little body roll around corners but rides pretty well. (Hope to have time to knock out the extensions one night this week) Hood and valance haven't been painted and aren't high on my priority list so not sure when that will get done. Plus it's driving my wife crazy that I'm driving it around like that, "What will the neighbors think!?!"... haha 
I have one major annoyance that I need to deal with. The hood latch cable is stretched out and when you pull it doesn't release the hood. So need to order a new cable and get that installed. For now I'm driving around with only the hand release latched to the hood.

I like the tow tone as well. Always been a fan of silver and red since i had a 79 f150 those colors. I'd paint the whole top half silver from the body line up. great job to this point!

I've never been able to get my front and rear diff to lock and found out earlier this week that they won't lock until the center diff locks. When I shift to 4 low the CDL light doesn't come on. Following some advice from Tools R Us and Inkpot I tried messing around at home, shifting into 4 low with the vehicle off and the key turned to on to see if I could pick up the sound of the CDL trying to engage and disengage. I wasn't able to hear anything but thought I may be missing it do to the noise from the shift in and out of 4 low. I have a CDL switch but wasn't planning on installing it until I had the wiring harness for the Scion 1819 I picked up. Decided to go ahead and install the switch and pull the dash again when I'm ready to do the stereo. Once the switch was installed I could engage 4 low and hit the switch and clearly hear the CDL attempt to engage. So this leads me to believe my CDL indicator switch might be out. I'm going to pull the switch and try to jump it tomorrow to see if that lights up the CDL indicator and lets me lock in front and rear.

Center is locking and so is the front but rear will not lock. I didn't actually have to pull the CDL indicator switch. While messing around with it in the driveway, I engaged 4 low, pushed the center diff lock button, put it in reverse and slowly backed up. CDL light came on within about 6 inches of rolling backwards. It never flashed before hand, it was off until it locked then on. I repeated this a few times and it will lock up every time. Next engaged front/rear lockers and front locked up within a few seconds, I was rolling forward very slowly and it popped right in. The rear would not lock. I took it over to a dirt road and did circles for a bit with rear lock only but no luck. EDIT: Turns out the rear sensor that tells you when it's locked was out and had to be replaced...

Thanks. I wasn't sure it would ever be back on the road either shortly after getting into it... I've loved every minute of it and I'm already searching for my next project after this.
I've counted out the light gray, sample picture doesn't capture the color accurately now that I'm looking at it on my laptop. I'm debating between black and medium gray. Being in AZ desert I've always tried to avoid black vehicles but I suppose a dark maroon or gray color isn't much better...

Haven't updated this in almost a year but quite a few things have happened.
1. Put 10,000 trouble free miles on. (74,000 + now)
2. Built a rear bumper with dual swing outs. Tire carrier done, working on 3 jerry can holder.
3. 1 Disco cup holder up front (by far my favorite mod
)and 2 ebay specials in the rear.
4. After a year of driving with a mismatched hood and front valance I finally made up my mind to just paint to match existing paint.
I spent a lot of time going back and forth considering bed liner. What made up my mind to not do it was coating the rear bumper in bed liner, the stuff is a b**** to keep clean. So having that issue over the entire vehicle would suck.
I painted it myself and this was my first attempt at automotive painting. I bought everything from Space Age paint supply here in Mesa they were extremely helpful in getting me setup with everything I needed. Spent 140 bucks on paint, reducer, clear and catalyst. Picked up $20 harbor freight HLPV gun and inline filter keep the air dry. Everything went fairly well I should have shot the clear at a higher PSI the orange peel was really bad, had to wet sand from 600 to 2500 and it still has some issues but I'm happy with it. Had a mobile detail shop come out and buff the entire vehicle. Looks great now and the
isn't embarrassed to ride in it anymore .
Plan on getting fan clutch out for fluid replacement and looking into sound/heat liners for interior before the AZ summer returns. It's already in the mid 80's so triple digits are right around the corner.
