Wow that thing is ready to go. Perfect for someone who wants a sorted rig. I hope it brings that price for you. Nice build!

Nice rig...consider a trade for a 60 with 152K miles, H55?

My kids will kill me if I trade it, but I kind of want something newer. Mine is an '83...I have had it a little over 2 years. Bought from AZ so 0 rust. I got it at 148K miles...interior is redone, drawer system similar to yours, seats are perfect, new SOR foam in the front, new front seat belts, desmogged, new OME suspension, new chrome, engine was rebuilt by Camelbak Toyota just before I got it (i have the receipt for over $11K), I had George at Valley send me a new H55 mounted to a rebuilt transfer and installed a couple thousand miles ago. Runs great, 0 leaks, and AC blows cold, front seat heater delete when I did the carpet, new hood insulator, I had clear tint added too like they do to some classics to cut down on radiant heat. I like the original look so tried to keep that as much as possible. Like any good MUD member I have done a lot of other little things. It is my weekend car and I do take it to a lease and drive it down dirt roads on occasion. Anyway, if you think you might want to consider I could send take a bunch of pics and even meet....Live in The Woodlands. Take a look at BAT, one the same year color with a few less miles and a 4 speed went for $30K so these continue to appreciate. I have more in this than you are asking, but something newer feels like a good move for me at this time. If you dont want to trade I will just keep loving it and using it....

NP....If you find a 40 guy in Austin wanting to trade to a 60 let me know and we could all trade, lol. Anyway, good looking truck. One day I will get me a triple locked 93-96 LC. Until then I will enjoy this one and all the attention it brings.

What just happened??? Good luck on your search for a 40!

Thanks, Zack! It actually happened pretty quickly. I loved the 80, but always had in the back of my mind that I wanted a 40. I finally realized while driving the '93 down the highway, that the 80 was a cool truck, but it's not exactly what I wanted.
