Life changes... I am selling my 1993 FZJ80.
I have had this truck since 2021 and it has taken me through the Black Rock Desert twice and recently to Mt. Patterson summit at 11,400 ft and many number of trails across the Eastern Sierra's and Northern Nevada.
Asking $12K OBO. Cash only.
LOCATION: Reno, NV. Willing to haul it within 1,000 miles of Reno if needed.
Over all this truck is ready to go. All of the work was performed by a Toyota Corp Master mechanic (not me!). There are some things that should be done to round it out and of course a thousand other things that you can do to make it yours. I am willing to sell the FTM-400 ham radio along with the vehicle if you want it. I have several boxes of parts that will come with it too.
The Good:
Opportunities for Improvement:
These are things I would do next if I were going to keep it.

The Good:
- Engine only has about 20K miles on it (I have receipts).
- Runs and drives strong.
- New ARB lockers installed two years ago with the factory switch and dash light mod. Stock gear ratio.
- New Marfield birfs install about a year ago along with knuckle rebuild.
- New brakes installed two years ago including hardware, rotors, calipers, extended brake lines, etc.
- New 3-inch Icon lift and 2.0 shocks installed along with Delta anti-sway bar drop brackets and rear panhard drop bracket with new bushes.
- New 10K Warn Zeon winch with wired and wireless controllers
- KC light bar mounted to a Prinsu rack.
- 6-inch Pro Comp spots mounted to the ARB front bumper.
- Entire A/C system (everything!) replaced and system recharged 2 years ago.
- 315/75 R16 Yokohama M/T tires with plenty of tread left.
- Tuneup was done about eight months ago with all Toyota parts.
- All fluids exchanged except transmission and transfer case.
- Everything except the steering gear box has been replaced in the power steering system.
- Upgraded to a Derale tubular power steering cooler.
- Installed Marline steering rods and heavy duty rod ends.
- Dual batttery with isolator, monitor and manual switch installed on the dash. Odyssey Extreme 27F starting battery and Optima blue top for aux power.
- All aftermarkert electrical components routed through an sPOD Bantum X LCD controller.
- Corbeau LG 1 seats with lumbar support and heaters.
- Double den Pironeer navigation head unit with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto
- ARB Twin compressor mounted to the aluminum Slee battery tray. The switch is wired to the dash and there is a protected coupler mounted to the ARB front bumper.
Opportunities for Improvement:
These are things I would do next if I were going to keep it.
- Transmission sevice - I don't know when it was last serviced, so I'd go through it and likely install a shift kit and new solenoids. I have brand new Toyota solenoids that come with the sale.
- Caster correction - I have learned to live with it but would be nice to have that sorted.
- New radiator and hoses - Again, likely not needed but I like to be thorough.
- The hood is wonky. I don't know what the PO did to it but it could use replacing. I have a donor hood that comes with the sale.
- Brakes are spungy. They work but could be better. I haad planned on doing the ABS LSPV delete popular here on mud.
- New rear bumper with armor.
- New sliders and exhaust (PO strikes again! Not smog legal without cats and EGR)
- I deleted the back seat and gave it to another club member who needed one for his 80.
