Well I'm back again. Seems like right when you think you are caught up on preventative stuff something else comes along. So I was pulled over last night because I didn't realize my running light weren't working. Brakes fire up fine when pressed but the running lights are a no go. I replaced the fuse even though it looked fine for the tail lights. Just thought there might be a simple solution before I started digging deeper. Any ideas?

The TAIL fuse powers all external running lights, dash illumination, and about 12 other items. If just the tail lamps are out, it's not the fuse.
I would reseat connector BQ1 in the left rear quarter panel.

One thing that is weird that I just noticed is the clock and the dome lights. The clock is very dim and the dome lights are out. The dash lights are fine however...replaced fuse and reseated BQ1 still no change.

Dome lights and clock are off the same DOME fuse under the hood, left fender relay box.
You should really consider downloading the Toyota FSM and EWD from the resources section.
Then troubleshoot using a meter.

You did replace the bulbs....right?

So I did go through the FSM finally and check BQ1 again and looked closer it had some corrosion on the pin so I started cleaning it up only to realize there were no pins left. I read through the manual trying to find a part number for the connector with no luck. Does anyone have a part number for the connector?

Yep!

Housings do not include pins.

Male housing 90980-10810

Mr.Held, you are legendary. For future reference where did you find those numbers? Are they in the FSM and im blind or another neat book I need to download?

I use the Toyota EWD to identify specific circuits and connections and the Toyota wire harness repair pdf to cross reference the connector shapes to the part numbers. Once I have the last 5 digits of the housing, I search the pdf for the mating connectors and pins.
Both the EWD and the wire harness repair pdf are available to download in the resources section.

I have the EWD I just need to get better at using it, and better at electrical work in general. Thanks for the help and the explanation of how you come about the numbers. I'll download the harness repair pdf.
