I'll just go with "distance learning" ...... That whole "porn" thing got me in trouble when I was a kid. :)
My parents didn't think I was just reading the articles.
Junior High School Library + National Geographic = Priceless

Not me ..... At that age I was reading Toyota maintenance manuals, using words like iteration and memorizing part numbers. That's when I wasn't helping elderly women cross the streets. I didn't waste my youth. :)

Thanks for bringing us back to tech...

The beginnings of Rob's roof rack. (Prototype) :)

What are the goals for the roof rack? (serious answer please)... Or is Rob just making something that will look good?

1) I thought all of my answers were "serious". :)
2) At this time I don't have a particular role in mind for a roof rack but it's there if I think of something.
(The Cruiser came with a rear ladder so it needs to go somewhere)
3) A high lift jack will attach to the rear and a LED light bar will be mounted on the front.
4) Rob is a very talented individual and everything that he fabricates looks good. (Rob has additional orders for roof racks and as they say "practice makes perfect".)
In the interest of full disclosure, there are a number of accessories on the Cruiser that will be seldom used but they're there if the need arrives.

Cool. Yes, Rob is indeed talented.....

Powder coat black I assume?
Correct ..... Both the roof rack and rear ladder.
He also has an 80 and 60 Series waiting in the wings for roof racks.

Within minutes of installing the cab basket on the 75 Series, Rob had ideas on how to improve the product and those improvements are incorporated in this design.
Rob's handywork will be evident in both the rear bumper and roof rack on the 77 Series. His goal is to provide options for the 70 Series crowd that is less expensive than some of the current offerings.

The portion of the roof rack over the sunroof can be easily removed and stored elsewhere if required.

All that is fine and dandy, but does the rig have cruise control?

Although we're working through a few operational issues, I indeed have cruise control.

Does anyone know if this number is significant for obtaining replacement keys?
Thanks
