Would anyone care to share what I'm doing wrong here? No one reply. Are the pics crap, is the price out of this world. What is so scary about this rig?

Sometimes it just takes waiting for the right person to see the ad.....The pics are fine and you have provided a lot of detail. White may just not be the most popular color as i see there is a white 62 on the ads from Atlanta with no responses at $8,500 with accessories. GLWS

No problem, I can be patient.

Nothing wrong- but at 275k miles- potential buyers are looking at a clean repainted rig thats got some nice upkeep on your part......that has at max the last 20% of engine life and alternatively theres the ad above yours with 140k less miles at same price.

Cool Cruiser. White is a very popular color on the 60 series. High mileage is the only thing hurting this truck, otherwise perfect in my opinion. Post it on a national website like autotrader, cars, or ebay.

Regarding the maintenance, can you tell me when/what mileage the various items were completed? Do you have the stock front bumper? Willing to sell with the original wheels and bumper and part the ARB and Stocktons?

All maintenance has been done while I have owned it. I have put around 40k miles in it.

I do have the original front bumper. It has a slight bend in it. I do not have tires mounted on the original rims.

Original rims are 15 inch.

Stocktons are 16 inch.

I don't want to piece out. I think that would be a bad idea for me.

So, some of [possibly all] of the maintenance could be 40,000 miles old by now? Help me out here. I'm interested but you're not selling me. As far as parting out, the sum of the parts has to be greater than the whole as advertised. A little more work perhaps, but greater.

We can take this offline if you'd like. PM me for my email.

No rust?

Rust is port installed option on every cruiser I've ever seen.

How'd this one survive?

Better pics of interior, undercarriage, and P&B or an $7.5-8k price tag would sway to make the drive to see.

Another question ... your signature reads "'89 FJ62 - 285K miles, rebuilt trans." but the CL ad says nothing about a rebuilt transmission. Are these one in the same FJ62s?

yes, Rebuilt installed by PO. He burned up the original trying to two a travel trailer from AZ to UT...

there is a small spot of surface rust in the middle of the bottom of the windshield frame and a couple super small spot showing on the rear hatch.

Under Carriage is dry and not oily.
