I saw a 1989 FJ62 parked for sale by owner at the corner market.

I'm in Camarillo, CA 93012

Sorry if a Mud member posted this already. I went back about 10 pages so you seriously need a bump if you're on here.

So here is what the sign says:

***************
1989 Toyota Land Cruiser
Air Cond, Electric Windows, mirrors, and locks. 5 speed manual trans ($7,300 conversion) winch, new tires, brakes

Truck runs perfect. 5 speed conv done by Man-A-Fre in Simi.

$5,900

Phone 805 (four seven nine) 1444

***************

ODO reads 199152.

The paint is gold and the interior is checkered tan with brown carpet. Everything looks super clean and new. It's so clean I don't know if it's original or restored. There was a paperwork folder on front seat so maybe some records are available.

Only rust I saw was scattered along roof line just above gutters. There was gutter mounted roof rack at some point but not now.

I didn't see any rust on doors at bottom and only mild surface rust on some of the undercarriage.

New tires are BFG AT 31x10.5
Full bull bar (didn't notice if it was ARB but it looked like it.)
MAX "Maximum Offroad Recovery" 9500 Winch with steel cable.
Two big Hella lights on front grill.
Snorkel
It has some kind of lift but I couldn't tell you exactly what it was. The space from top of tires to fenders is about the same as the sidewall height and there is a 6 inch bolt next to the front shock that looks like it is to extend a connection.
The leaf sprints are offset by about the 4-6 inches down from original mount also.
It has a tow hitch also.

I can't figure out how to post pics directly and I'll probably be able to add a link tomorrow. if you reply with an email or PM I'll send pics directly to you.

I can take some other specific pics or maybe someone can get the owner to post up on here. I don't know enough about 60's to do an inspection but let me know if I can help otherwise. (I just got my 100 series a couple months ago otherwise I would be all over this for a fun rig.)

Sounds pretty nice!

$7,300 for a 5sp conversion? Yikes....I hope that included something kinky under the sheets...good grief that's expensive!

Please note I corrected the phone number.

I'm very sorry for the error.
