I'm selling because I found a 4Runner I'd like to replace it with. Yes, I know it's blasphemy but my old body needs some comfort these days and princess does too. I would consider a trade but it would have to have some build/lift, etc already done.

Nice truck, I know my H55 cost about $2500 alone not including install, to have this in a fuel injected 62 series is a good combo. I assume you changed the front grill to a FJ60 with round headlights? Good buy for someone that is looking and doesn't want to invest $10k (in parts alone) to get to this point. Out of curiosity how's the underbody?

I should mention who did the H55 conversion: Safari Ltd in Grand Junction, Colorado. Anyone who has been to Cruise Moab should know Hugh and his crew. My A440 seized a couple miles from his shop on my way back from Moab and he does great work. He sourced all the parts and rebuilt the t-case.

The underbody is rust-free as well. This truck spent a lot of time behind a motorhome of the guy I bought it from in Wyoming. He lost the galley plug which is why the motor was rebuilt. It's been in CO since I bought it so rust hasn't had the chance to attack it.

This has at least passed the fiance test!! Now just need to see how to get it from Colorado to BC Canada!

Do you have any pics of interior and the underside of it. I'm really interested and will start the research to get it north of the border!

Scion radio, diff protection & rear bumper. The bumper started as a Solid Rock Off-Road bumper with the spare mounted on the swing-arm. After removing it to grease the bearings I decided I liked the added visibility so Jim modified it per my instruction to hold 2 jerry cans instead. The swing-arm does not have to be moved to access the back via the top gate with it this way. It does need to be opened to access the lower gate where I store the spare, spare parts, tools, water can, etc. that is boxed in using 1" square tube and covered providing a flat surface for additional gear, coolers, etc.

Thanks fjdemon, the underbody is great, I'm attaching some more pics that should show that. 10K in parts is a bit on the low side but that's obvious to those of us that have built these.

Thanks fsusteve, it's a great truck and has taken me everywhere I've asked it to + some. It's not easy to part with but the time has come and I'll deal with it.

On the other hand if it doesn't sell that's okay too.

Below are a couple pics of the rear frame which is the usual place for dangerous rust. As you can see it's still nice and clean. One shot of each side along with another view of the wheel well tube.

If I was a better salesman I'd have washed it first.
