Very nice looking and well put together truck for sale at a great price. Why did you decide not to route the exhaust farther out the back? Is the manual transmission gearing more favorable with the stock axle gears and large tires-assuming you still have the 4.11's in the axles. Any photos of the stick shift from inside the cab?

Thanks, The shop that did my exhaust has done a lot of old Cruisers so I just let him do his thing. It works fine and never get fumes in the truck. Besides, the farther it sticks out towards the back the more probable of it hitting rocks.

The 5 speed with the 3fe is a great combination with stock gearing. It would be perfect with 4:88's but that expense is hard to justify when running 4:11's. I took some pics today but the one of the stick isn't very good so I'll take more tomorrow after I get home from a Fall Color run.

Caliber1 and anyone else, you can use cxs_at_Comcast_dot_net which will get forwarded to my real address and I'll reply using that one.

Apologies to everyone for not getting pics earlier, I'll get them out today.

Note: This is an early '88 model and does not have the electric windows, doors, mirrors, locks and other such parts to cause trouble. If you need those 'features' remove this from consideration.

Well, having seen this truck personally - it's pretty much bad-ass!

Any chance you want to trade for my 40 ? :) My wifey wants a softer ride...and the kids want more space for their crap when we're wheeling!

Best of luck on the sale - hope it stays in CO....let's go wheelin with your new 4Runner.....or this weekend in your 60/62!

Thanks Jeff, but :princess: doesn't even respond to 40's anymore :D

You need a 60 to supplement your 40!

It's been 6 weeks since I wheeled so I plan to get out this weekend one way or another. Just need to swap in a different smog pump and I'm ready to go.

Someone needs to buy this before I am forced to do it. I hate having to many cars and needing more..... FYI it's only about $900 to ship this all the way to Georgia.

Hi folks,........

I'd love to buy it! ..........mind keeping it till I get back from Afghanistan? Yea, bout 18 months from now. Kidding. Hope you sell soon. Good Luck

What the heck FJDemon, 1 more wouldn't hurt. I'd even split the shipping with you. ;)

Thanks RedSoxFan, thank you for your service and keep safe over there.

Will do. I will absolutely be looking to purchase a 60/62 when I get back (March '11). In the mean time, I'll be scouring this site for advice, thoughts and things to consider. Got some time to research and find the right one!

RTT stands for Reynolds transport theorem (also known as the Leibniz-Reynolds transport theorem), or in short Reynolds theorem, is a three-dimensional generalization of the Leibniz integral rule. This theorem is used to compute derivatives of integrated quantities.

It also stands for roof top tent (post 14)

Awesome 62, all done to my taste, colour - RED, lift, tires etc... but unfortunately I am in Australia (not in Canada like lucky graymouser).
Actually I joined this forum to praise your 62 but google brought me here looking for HID conversion as I also owe one 1988 FJ 62 four 4x6 lights front with 2H 5 speed.

HID cannot be compared with any halogen or whatever lights as they look like a candle light when compared with HID as I installed them in the previous 4WD-ish car (Brumby) and .... man!!!
YOU CAN SEE ANY ROO EVEN BEFORE JUMPS FROM THE BUSHES ON THE ROAD (you've must heard bout those pest on Australian roads)

Anyway good luck with the sale and see ya later
