1987 HJ60 RHD Part Availability

Hyd everyone.

I am new to the forum and looking at buying a 1987 HJ60 that is RHD. Talking to the seller, he says it needs new sway arms (confirmed during the test drive). I am just cautious based on not know the part availability for a JDM RHD truck. Are the LHD parts such as sway arms interchangeable with the RHD, or will I have to get them from overseas?

Mix up on my words. I meant sway bar. But also, in general does anyone know if the parts availability for a RHD in the US? I'm really wanting to get this rig but don't want to get into something where I either cant find the parts or have to spend a fortune to get them shipped

So my HJ is Canadian so I may not be the best person to answer your question, but seeing as you're in Alaska, I would say that you have decent RHD support from Extreme Bends in Vancouver, 4 wheel Auto in Edmonton, and Radd Cruisers in Duncan BC.

Im also going to guess by looking at mine that the sway bar is the same on a RHD as a LHD.
