My seeing the "light" is proof that drug and alcohol addition programs can be very beneficial. :)

** Before Ward says something I must remind everyone that even in my darkest days, none of my Rovers were running Oldsmobile engines.
Charles -
Maybe because yours were old (not Olds) when you bought them. :)

Rover used the Olds aluminum 215 CID V8 in Rover 3500 sedan and the Range Robber, as well as the Defender. Morgan also used the American sourced motor in the Plus 8.

Rover used its version of the "BOP" engine until 2006.

I had one of those motors in a '62 Cutlass F85...sweet little runner.

Toyota was not the only offshore manufacturer to see the light and make use of "Olds" power. :)

If I remember correctly my 1995 Defender had a "GM inspired" engine. Although it was severely lacking in horsepower, it was non the less reliable.

A reliable Rover? Musta had a V8. :)
"Lacking in horsepower" not a term I have heard used to describe Vortec swapped Cruisers :steer:

I suppose some get hood ornaments and some don't. :)
I think I would have noticed if Charles' truck had that option. I am not that blind ....

Yet.

Maybe it/she is out back with his rego plate collection.
That might be the case if I could live on 10% of my current assets and that's assuming I still had 10% left after the divorce.
My HJ75 would no doubt be included in the yard sale.

Stick with a proven solution - marital bliss and solvency

A wise man, indeed!

Hopefully by Friday, I'll have bright yellow shocks and a steering damper. (Thanks, Ward)
The under hood lighting prototype will also be installed and the over cab basket should be in the final stages.

I'm sure you are working very hard to get all of this done!

;)

Mentally I am......
You have your skills, I have mine. :)

Charles excels at giving Rob ideas :)

I don't even feel the bumps (a slight exaggeration)

The steering damper is more than twice the diameter as the original one not to mention the little boot do-dad is very cool.
Thanks ..... Ward
