The HJ75, which has a spine jarring ride, is in line for an upgrade. (Thanks, Ward)View attachment 1122738

Excellent! I'm looking forward to some first hand real world experience. If their shocks are as good as their clutches that will be a nice improvement. If I recall you installed the axle seal/knuckle rebuild kit, yes? I'm sure the quality was more than evident...
Hopefully at some in the not so distant future the only old thing on the truck will be the driver. (One part at a time). :)

Steering Damper ...... Isn't that the do-dad that makes the truck go straight even if you've been drinking?

When Sam picked up my BJ74 last week, I had forgot to re-install the original "ultra rare" rear headrest. My question, since they were not included in the original transaction and the fact that they are ultra rare, should I charge separately for them?
Say $500.00 apiece or should I settle for a free beer and dinner the next time I see Sam? Big business, big decisions.

Dawn patrol (not to be confused with "Rat Patrol") light check.

Guess I have to keep the beers flowing .... tough price to pay ;)

As an aside, I had the pleasure of riding in Charles' HJ75 last weekend and I. Can say that it is on excellent rig. His pictures make it look very nice .... The pictures do not do the truck any justice .... :bounce:

It's been raining most of the day so to fight boredom, I polished and buffed my rear bumper. My recycled beer cans haven't been this shiny in years. Unfortunately I now see the need to replace a lot of screws with stainless steel screws.

You just need a real bumper and get rid of the BS toyota stuff.

I am sure Jason could set him up ;)

Naw ..... I'll remain old school. I realize it's more of a step than a bumper but I'm okay with that.
The "originality" is one of many things that appeals to me.

Diamond plate rocks...

I apologize for not being able to remember who asked for this but here are couple of photos showing the "blue" we chose to use on my 2H. If I remember correctly it's "Ford" blue.
